The Bristol is a superb hotel situated across the street from the outstanding Vienna State Opera. The facilities and the staff of the hotel are all 5 stars. The old city of Vienna with all the art, museums, cathedrals and shopping are all within very easy walking distance. Can't say enough about how much my wife and I loved this hotel.

A very nice experience overall. The hotel has retained its elegant traditional style and generally service is very good and pleasant. A couple of areas for improvement (given its luxury status): 1. there is no lounge area to sit in and relax during the day. 2. The bar, though nice, is very small so after the opera we had to find another hotel for a drink. 3. The in-room dining options are very limited - needs to have more snack / light meal options. 4. At breakfast the staff were slow to ask what tea/coffee we required - had to find staff to ask every day.
