Studio 3 is a cozy studio apt with 2 queen beds side by side, icy cold A/C, a fully equipped small kitchen where guests can cook their own meals, bathroom, and a balcony overlooking the backyard. This is a great option for those guests who desire a great bang for your buck. It has all of the comforts one would need for a short trip to Vieques, plus tranquility all around. There is a great yard for those with children, or simply for guests who want to be outside to enjoy the fresh Caribbean breezes passing through.

We had a really great stay at Sara & Eddie's place. We stayed 3 nights. They are both wonderful, very nice people. They went out of their way to make us comfortable, between picking and offering fresh fruit from their many trees, chopping coconuts for fresh coconut water, and providing us a cooler for the beach. We got great, insider tips for the many beaches, suggestions for restaurants, and a lot of information on Vieques that only a local would be able to offer. The room is offered at a really great price. It is not huge but it is very functional. There is a fridge, an excellent gas stove, enough appliances, dishes, pots and pans, and silverware. There is a breakfast counter right outside the room facing the yard, with it's trees, a horse, cats, and occasional chickens. It has a rustic feel and really helped us relax. We had breakfast there.It is not in the Esperanza party district. You will need a car/jeep to get around. But the island is really compact. We could get anywhere in 15-20 minutes. They are a 3 minute drive from a reasonably priced and well-equipped grocery store, and two gas stations. There's are cafes and restaurants nearby and all over the island. It is more or less equidistant and party close to the north, quieter coast, and the south, more lively coast. Again, we had an awesome stay and we would definitely stay with them again.

Excellent communication, clean studio, and friendly hosts. Eddie and Sarah went above and beyond for us to have a great experience. We stayed many times by the water and this trip we wanted to be in the country with the locals.

The place was exactly like the pictures but the location is totally wrong. It’s not walking distance from anything, if you stay here you need a car.

The temperature of the air conditioning could not be changed. When we showered, there was sometimes no hot water and we repeatedly asked the man in charge to turn it back on.

Home away from home

Small cute centrally located abode

The house is a tiny studio that is centrally located from both the port and Esperanza. At first we thought it was very remote when we didn’t have our transport, ended up paying $5 per person to go to the city each way. That adds up very quickly. However when we got an utv, everything from here was about 10 mins drive. The whole island is about 20 mins end to end. You will need your own vehicle if you are living here, nothing is really walkable. Regarding the studio, everything basic you need is here. 2 beds, 2 sheets, lots of towels, stove, fridge etc. We did see a few cockroaches but that’s part of island living I guess. It’s a decent studio for the price. We did have slight confusion getting to the property as the address mentioned is different then what is mentioned in how to get here note from owner. However if you show picture of the house, pretty much anyone can bring you here.

Great hosts, comfortable room and beds

Had a great time here, rented the golf cart and it was perfect to commute. The family was super awesome and friendly and always checked to make sure I had everything I needed. Definitely recommend staying here and I will be back.
