This newly renovated 2 bedroom house is a stone's throw from the ferry terminal, main street, restaurants & beaches in Vineyard Haven. Step outside and you're just steps away from downtown and everything the port community of Vineyard Haven has to offer. The house itself was gut renovated in the summer of 2020, and then professionally furnished, decorated & landscaped soup to nuts. 2 bedrooms w/ two queen beds, comfortably sleeps two couples.

Although the house isn't directly on the water, it's only one block away from the Vineyard Haven harbor & local beaches, so the house has been decorated and furnished w/ a beach house feel. The house was renovated to accommodate either short term or long terms stays year-round, so there is a full kitchen, central heat & air conditioning, laundry machine, and everything else you would expect in a "home." There is also a large private stone patio in the back of the house with seating, ambiance and an outdoor shower with a rain head fixture.

We loved our time in Martha’s Vineyard, and Mike’s home was the perfect home base during our trip. Located a very short walk from the ferry, grocery store, shopping, and amazing food, the location couldn’t be better. The home was very clean, well stocked, and reflected the listing photos. We would definitely stay here again when visiting the Vineyard!

Everything from the booking process to departure was seamless. The owner’s communication was always prompt. The property is exactly as pictured, very clean, and modern. We had an amazing stay! The house was perfect for our family (2 kids) — we had plenty of space, the kitchen was stocked so it was easy to cook and the location is perfect. We really enjoyed our time in the backyard and walking around the adorable town of Vineyard Haven. It was great to have a parking space behind the house, and it was also easy and fast to get anywhere on the island - no more than 20 minutes when we were visiting. The owner Mike was great to communicate with! Highly recommend this house for your next Vineyard visit.

The house was spotless and decorated beautifully, with light filled rooms. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen was great for simple cooking. The patio out back is lovely and was a great place to relax. It was just a few minutes to walk into vineyard haven. Mike was super responsive and accommodating to our requests. House was nicely decorated, very clean, host very attentive to our needs and wants, and convenient to in town shopping, restaurants and a grocery store. Only negative was the neighborhood. House was next to a Post Office, across the street was a bike rental shop and a thrift store, so a little noisy; however overall a very good stay.

This modern cottage offers everything needed for a “home base” on Martha’s Vineyard. The unit has tons of thoughtful touches like 3 flat screen TVs, fast Internet, fully-equipped kitchen with great appliances. The owner, Mike, is kind and helpful. I usually visit Martha’s Vineyard several times per year for work reasons, and have been disappointed with local hotels. I’ll certainly choose this house again next time if it’s available.

Mike did a great job renovating this house which is perfect for a couple getaway or small group. Everything in Vineyard Haven is within walking distance and the ferry is there too. We left a computer behind and Mike was helpful in getting it back to us—thanks Mike! Highly recommend this rental!

We loved that this location was so close to downtown Vineyard Haven that we were able to walk to restaurants and stores (and not have to deal with traffic and finding a parking spot). Knowing that we would be traveling elsewhere on the island, we brought our car over and appreciated having an off street parking spot available. Given how close the cottage is to the ferry terminal however, a car is not necessary at all. The cottage is immaculate and well appointed, inside and out, with the enclosed patio a wonderful addition. This is our second time staying at a property belonging to this host, and he is an absolute gem…relevant information (directions, parking instructions, etc) were sent in a timely way, and he checked In periodically via email to make sure that all was well and to make himself available for questions and recommendations. I highly recommend this cottage and it’s host!

We we’re in MV for the marathon. My 18 ur old ran it (his first). The house was located right near the ferry black dog tavern/ bakery and store as well as stop and shop and several pizza shops! The house was exceptionally clean and the outdoor space is beautiful! Mike checked in with me often to see if we needed anything. The house had everything you need and more. Including a kuerig with complimentary coffee pods and tea options as well. We’ll stocked with soaps shampoo and conditioner paper towels and toilet paper. We needed nothing!! Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!!!

Mike was an excellent host who has a lot of pride in his property and making his guests feel welcome. The home matches the website, and then some! It is in a great location, has a smart layout with lots of space inside and outside, is really clean, and all of your needs are covered. It really felt like a luxury stay.

Myself and some friends had the pleasure of staying at this adorable house. It had all the amenities and location was perfect! Walkable to shops, to/from ferry and Stop n Shop! We loved the house and the back patio was a wonderful area to lounge! Would definitely rent again.
