"Perfect nice hotel in a good location. If you have mobility issues ask for a ground floor room as the stairs are steep and twisty!! Breakfast was nice. "

"Stayed 1 night at the Royal Hotel. Very convenient location just a 5 minute walk into the centre of Ross on Wye. Lovely hotel with easy check in. We had a spacious double room which was clean and had all the amenities you needed. The staff are lovely and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Nice bar area and the food is very good( superb breakfast) Highly recommend this hotel. "

"Needed to stay in the area 4 nights for work, chose this hotel because it was attached to a pub so after a day's work wouldn't have to go into Ledbury to eat. The pub was not open and I didn't see any member of staff during the stay. I had a phone number which I used to ask for more milk and coffee in the room, came back to find a couple of sachets balanced on the windowsill. No one came int the room to clean, change towels, etc. "

"Bharat and Ann are welcoming and attentive hosts. The property was very clean and well-decorated, with excellent views over the countryside from the guest lounge. It was about a 20 minute walk into town - though a steep hill coming back. I would definitely recommend."
