I liked that were was definitely enough room for everybody on the trip. The house itself could definitely use some TLC but for the most part the whole experience was good. Beautiful view and the beach is right around the corner definitely will recommend the Bayside Bungalow.

Start of Season

The property management company was awesome and very attentive. The pool had just opened and was still green which was understandable. The yard needed to get a haircut and it was completed when we got in. Overall the attentive nature of the property manager and staff made the stay nice.

Location and beds were great.

Location, hot tub and pool were a plus (even though the pool was closed while all neighboring pools were still open). The rental is seriously dated and needs some TLC.

Nice, comfortable beach getaway

The beach was only a 8 minute walk away. The house was comfortable and very dog friendly which we appreciated! The pool and hot tub needed some cleaning (hot tub guy came on Saturday to maintain it) but thrilled at the end of September the pool was open! I would stay here again. Thanks for sharing your home.

Weekend Sandbridge Getaway

Enjoyed my stay at Bayside Bungalow--Great quiet neighborhood with beautiful views! Very Short walk to the beach. Fully stocked kitchen!. The most pet friendly stay I've had- owner provided Dog bed and bowls. Dogs loved the fenced in backyard. I Loved the Comfortable outdoor seating and viewing the stars from the hot tub!

Bayside Bungalow

This was our annual family vacation to Sandbridge and the first time staying at this home. We really enjoyed the stay and the boys loved being able to launch their kayaks so easily from the dock. Little bit of a long walk to the beach on hot days but the house itself was very nice and kitchen had most everything we needed. The internet strength wasn't that good and was hard to watch TV in the bedrooms without it cutting out. The pool and hot tub were a huge hit!! Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!!

While the pool and common living area are nice and enjoyed by the family, the lack of general maintenance and smell of mildew hinder the overall experience. The beds are hard and overused, the outdoor cushions are covered in spiderwebs with some covered in black mold. There is a leak in the main bedroom when it rains. The first floor is the real disappointment. There is clearly a moisturizer issue as snacks in cardboard boxes become moist or stick together. The smell of mildew is pungent and does not dissipate. We contacted the vacation management company (with pictures and video) and there was little resolve. Little things such as broken closet doors, limited towel hooks (1 per bathroom for a house of 15), broken downstairs shower, broken toilet paper holders, broken pool light, weeds growing through deck, and limited storage (no dresser or closet system to put things away) just add insult to injury. I think the management company needs to contact owners about poor up keep. This is not home I would recommend.

Needs upkeep and reinforcement

Location is only plus. House moved considerably. Unsure or structural stability. The swaying and movement was scary at times ( no storms - just during normal days ). House needs a deep clean, dust on ceilings and Pet hair everywhere. Pool is just a liner ( uneven flooring )and surround is cracked. Decking is rotted and not safe near canal.

Needs work

Our original home rental was canceled so we were offered this. We were not happy when we arrived. There was bird crap all over the back porch that we had to claim up. Two of the bathrooms toilet roll dispensers were hanging off the wall. Knobs in the bathroom cabinet were stripped off. Used water bottles left under the bed in the bedroom. Vents were filthy and the popcorn ceiling had dirt and dust hanging. The freezer door would not stay closed causing frost build up. There were piles of dog crap left in the back yard from previous renters. The downstairs sliding door was a struggle to open and close where the kids could not even use it. We made the best with what we had and were shocked none of this was disclosed before. We have been spending our family vacation in Sandbridge for the last 7 years and this was the worst. We would never have come back if this was our first experience.

Didn’t love anything the house was not ready to be rented, cobwebs, no cushions for the outside furniture , mold on the shower curtains and to top it off they came Tuesday morning to replace the pool liner, while we were there and no one did anything about it

Fun family retreat in Sandbridge

Spacious house with nice kitchen, comfy beds, clean bathrooms, awesome deck, pool, great location. Bottom floor is slightly musty and the furniture needs updating (sofa, outdoor chairs/cushions downstairs)…but the upper deck had nice chairs and a beautiful view!

Girls Trip

The listing was very accurate and the property was spacious for our 10 guests. The pool was wonderful and the hottub was a bonus as it wasn't in the listing. We did find the cleanliness lacking. We had to wash some of the sheets when we first arrived as there were spilled items on some and what looked to be vomit on others. The carpets in the livingroom had massive dust bunnies everywhere and the dishwasher was loaded with dirty dishes but unran.. aside from the cleanliness upon check in, the property was wonderful and we would definitely stay again.
