Great condo!!

We stayed for a wedding and absolutely loved this condo. It is nicely decorated, very spacious and comfortable, and very clean. Loved how close it is to the beach. Location is very quiet and not too far from the boardwalk. Would love to stay here again.

Short title

We defined had some trouble getting into the building but once we figured it out it was easy the rest of the stay. We really had a nice stay. It was quiet due to the off season.

Great beach access and pool, condo dirty, no pool tools, broken dishwasher that management was aware of prior but would not fix. We did like the large table. Pool was very nice.

Nice Location

Great place, nice size too! Right across the street from the beach. Definitely a noisy intersection right out side, but we brought a white noise machine and didn’t hear anything when we slept. Overall nice place, lots of space and great location.

Clean and great location

If you do not want to be in the middle of the Boardwalk, this is a great place to stay. The beach is beautiful as is the pool. The condo is big and very clean. Whiskey Kitchen is a yummy restaurant nearby!

Great large rental condo on beach

Unit and location are wonderful. Contrary to a few reviews below the unit was very clean. They have new reclining furniture in the living room. Beds were very comfortable. Very safe-codes needed to enter elevator lobby as well as to call the elevator. The location is on the beach and directly across the street there is a restaurant and market which has just about anything you could need or want. It is on the busiest intersection in Sandbridge but inside the unit you could hear very little. Might be more noise in season. There is even a Keurig coffee maker! No beach chairs but there is a rental place just down Sandbridge Rd that rents them as well as bicycles. We had a very nice stay and would recommend.

Love The Wave!

Absolutely loved The Wave! We will for sure rent this condo again next year. I can’t think of anything I’d improve on. I would like to see the condo a little cleaner, such as the sofa bed was dirty. Other than that, everything was GREAT!

Nice place, GREAT location

The location is fantastic--right on the beach and at the very end of Sandbridge Road (the road leading to Sandbridge Beach). The unit is on the Sandbridge Road side, so you do get street noise--especially in the mornings. We did have a few things with which we had a problem--the door to the balcony would not lock, the water temp in the shower was way too hot (even when you turned it as cold as you could). I called and Vacasa, the management company, sent someone out to fix the problems. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was very spacious for our family. Nice location to the beach. Beach about a block away, easy access and not a lot of people. Convenient small store and a Restaurant across the street. I would suggest they supply a broom and dustpan to clean up sand brought in on shoes. The door lock number could be a little shorter.

The Wave

We had a great time staying at The Wave! The space was much larger in person than the pictures made it appear. The view from the balcony was also much nicer than we expected. We could easily see waves breaking on the sand and dolphins swimming up and down the beach. The proximity to the beach (with a paved path) and also to the corner market was very nice to have. Despite being late September the pool was warm and we were able to swim. It was also always clean without leaving us smelling like strong chlorine or getting the inevitable burning eyes which is impressive. The space is on the side of the building along the main road but at least for us noise wasn't an issue -- however during peak season in July with more traffic I can see where it might. The only issues we encountered were that the door to the balcony from the main living area was unable to be locked - mechanism seemed broken. Also, and this is just a personal preference, but the bedrooms could benefit from some blackout curtains. The master bedroom has lights from the stores/traffic lights at night, plus direct sun first thing in the morning, and the other two bedrooms have a lot of light flooding in all night from the interior lights of the building. Also, the numbered parking space inside the garage was a tight squeeze so we opted to park outside in the second unnumbered space available to us. This isn't a problem of the building, we were just in a large truck - only mentioning as a heads up for anyone who may also be coming in a larger vehicle. We had a really great time at Sandbridge (as always) and we would absolutely stay here again!

Love the Dunes, but not this room.

My family and I love Sandbridge and love staying at the Dunes, but this unit was filthy. We are not very picky people, but the lack of cleaning of this unit was an issue throughout our stay. Upon arrival, we noticed dirt and crumbs all over the floor and carpet. We have small children so the first thing we had to do was vacuum and sweep the floors. Over the next 24 hours we found that the shower was moldy, there was a half eaten slice of pizza wedged between the refrigerator and the wall, the refrigerator was very dirty and needed cleaned out, and when we left we noticed that the sheets underneath the top sheet and comforter had stains all over them (looked like urine stains). The unit overall just needed a deep clean. Certain dishes were also visibly dirty (and not just a little bit). It looked like it maybe had been swept, vacuumed, and sheets changed in between visits all summer, without anyone actually going in to clean it. This wasn’t just dirty from the prior tenant, but I don’t think this unit has been fully cleaned in quite a while. We didn’t let it ruin our vacation and we had a great stay, but staying up until 1 AM on our first night there to clean the unit was not what we had planned, and it certainly not what we had paid for. Overall we were very disappointed with this unit and the lack of cleanliness, but we plan to come back to the Dunes to stay at another unit in the future.

This is a great property. The location was perfect for our family. We had the beach, a pool, and a grocery store across the street. The place was well appointed, perfectly clean and extremely comfortable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Enjoyed our time there

My husband and I were looking for a last-minute place after the birth of our grandchild in Chesapeake. We were delighted at how nice it was and a very short walk to the beach. We had one issue come up and Hannah from Vacasa was quick to help make it right immediately. We definitely will try to stay here again sometime.

Awesome Location

We loved the low density beach environment and the short walk to the beach. It was still a short 25 min drive to the boardwalk and many good restaurants were a short drive. Unit was modern, clean, and all around great experience.

Very clean

Condo was super clean when we arrived and we loved it. Very short walk across the street to the beach and the Sandbridge Island Restaurant and market connected were great as well. The ONLY issue at check in was we were promised 2 marked parking spots inside the garage and there was only 1. Easily rectified but just double check at check-in. Definitely going back to this beautiful condo.

The Wave 205D Sandbridge Dunes

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved being in Sandbridge on vacation. The proximity to the beach was perfect. We saw beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the balcony. We even felt the safety of the condo structure as the hurricane passed through one day. It was roomy enough for my family of 6 to spread out. When we called the maintenance person on Monday morning, he came promptly and showed us the easy fix for the water in the tub . He brought And put up a new, clean shower liner, too. The pool was kept clean and inviting even with many folks using it each day. I was disappointed only in a few little things- everyday kitchen gadgets that were not there or unusable- a can opener, hot mitts and peeler for example. The cabinet in the kitchen was broken when we got there as was the bottom of a dresser. We were short one remote for a tv and we put replacement batteries in the ones there to get them working. All in all, the problems were minor and we would definitely stay there again.
