The Fairweather was beautiful, well-decorated to fit the history, comfortable and charming! We loved being able to walk to the shops, the restaurant, the bar, and sit out on the old boardwalk and people-watch! We would have loved to have seen a ghost!

This was a quick trip. I thought I was booking at the inn but my booking was actually a cabin down the road a mile in Nevada City, maybe I didn’t read that listing clearly either way it wasn’t a big deal but do be sure to read if you’re being booked into a cabin or at the actual Inn. The cabin was very clean, Keurig coffee inside, comfortable beds! The history of these towns is so very interesting! Parking for us was right in front of the cabin very easy

What a wonderful place to stay in Virginia City. I was transported back in time in the quaint hotel. Ronnie at the front desk was a delight and even brought us robes to enjoy our stay. Highly recommend!

Absolutely gorgeous area with lovely views and kind strangers. Our cabin was extremely clean and comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was excellent, the bed very comfortable. We brought our rocking chairs out front to watch the sunset and various passers-by. The cleaning material used in the cabin before or arrival was a bit overwhelming, so we assured the cabin a bit.

Parking close-by is isn't really available unless you get there early afternoon. Amenities like coffee, tea, are readily available. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Shops and places to eat are clse-by, within a two minute walk. I would stay there again and highly recommend it especially if you are a history buff.

We felt like part of the family when we stayed there. The ladies who own it are awesome and very friendly. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable to sleep on. There is no elevator for the second floor rooms but it was easy to take our suitcases up the stairs. I would highly recommend staying there.

Cabins is old. You could see daylight through the door. The shower was so small. Towels and bedding were clean. Way overpriced for what we got.
