“The room was spotless. I was very surprised! The property is old but very well kept for its age. The front desk staff was friendly.”

“The front desk is pretty good and friendly! She spend a lot of time to let us know the history of the city and recommended which food is good or not. It is safe to walk around in the night. There is no people around the hotel and pretty close to the gas station, only spend 4 mins if you drive. ”

“From the time of booking to the time of check out the host and staff were amazing and communicated so well. We had zero issues or concerns but had we needed them they were readily available. We will be booking again, so much fun even with the rain and busy weekend. It was very clean and just as described lots of extras that my kids enjoyed. ”

“Yes the rooms where very clean, but the there where spiders and spiders webs in the kitchen and outside on the covered patio. I also noticed a puddle of water on the stove top, leaking from the microwave. Possibility due to the severe thunderstorm and heavy rain fall. But overall the place was amazing.”

“Homemade breakfast every morning was excellent, great coffee from local shop as well. The host and hostess were great and made you feel that old southern hospitality while you stay with them. Beautifull home to stay in and relax even on rainy days.”

“ We love Jennifer's vacation home. It was clean, comfortable and fully equipped. We unpacked and felt right at home. Located across the street from the water with free use of paddle boots and kanus. Wifi, TV, books and games were also available. Check-in was easy and Jennifer kept asking that we needed anything else. We enjoyed our time and will be back in spring 2026. Thank you Jennifer for the wonderful care, we'll see you again in May...”
