Unfortunately for us the staff failed to warn us when we checked in to our 2 rooms that there was a wedding reception at the hotel on Saturday evening and to expect disruption and extreme noise until 1 am. The next morning the owner was very unsympathetic, admitted the live band was much louder than normal but then became very reluctant to offer a sincere apology. Despite its attractive appearance and location we would never stay here again or recommend to anyone else. Harsh but truthful words and should come as no surprise to the owner.

One problem was that there were flies everywhere, in particular, all over the food. Nothing was done to cover the food. Maybe they could have used hat screens over the food. People weren't particularly helpful, no elevator and our room was at the top of the building. Tough when you are elderly.

The room was super clean, spacious, and lovely - lots of thoughtful touches, comfortable bed, large bathroom. The restaurants are lovely, as is the outdoor space. The food at dinner and breakfast was wonderful; service was stellar from the whole team. Pretty views.
