Summary:
Waco's most captivating Airbnb—The "Cool River" 2-story Container Home, a YouTube sensation nearing 1M views!

Walk to the incredible shops and restaurants of Homestead Heritage or play pickleball on our brand new court, all while being just 12-min from the heart of Waco!

The well-lit rooftop deck has beautiful pasture views, perfect for evening cocktails. All together, there are two private suites for you, a bedroom and bathroom on each floor-- ideal for couples traveling together!

The Space:
Our unique home started with two shipping containers but has been transformed into an unforgettable space.

The rooftop deck is lit for ambiance and might be our favorite feature. Catch the sunset over the pasture with a glass of wine, or enjoy the morning with a cup of coffee.

Inside, there is ample natural light and beautiful design. You'll have all the modern amenities-- a cozy living space, 2 smart-TVs, pristine Queen-sized bedrooms, a kitchenette stocked with essentials, and full-sized bathrooms.

When you’re ready to get active, head to our brand-new pickleball court!

Everything at Homestead Heritage—Cafe Homestead, Homestead coffee roasting, and the Homestead Craft Village—is just a short walk away. There's so much to do, eat, learn, and see while you're here.

The Neighborhood:
The location is a safe rural neighbourhood, just north of Waco and close to I-35. Surrounded by trees, cattle graze nearby. Guests are also welcome to use the lawn. Shop and eat in Homestead Cafe and Craft Village, only minutes away by road.

Getting Around:
You can park right at the house and Uber is available.

This Tiny House Community is A Hidden Gem for Families—Our Second Stay!

This was our second time visiting the Cool River Helm™ Container Home, and it was just as fantastic as our first! Myself and my three kids stayed here during our fall break, and we had an unforgettable time. The owners are absolutely magnificent—so friendly and responsive. The location is perfect for a peaceful getaway, just 12 minutes from Magnolia and Baylor. The sunset from the house is stunning, and we were thrilled to find they had added a Pickleball court since our last visit. My kids had a blast exploring the property, especially the pond in the center, where they loved seeing turtles and fish. The upstairs bed was a favorite of my two sons, who said it was super comfy! And the memory foam pillows? Incredible! Now I need to buy one for home! One small issue with the thermostat in the bedroom was quickly resolved—within 5 minutes of texting the owner, someone was there to fix it. The service was beyond impressive, and we were right back to enjoying our tiny house adventure. We can’t wait to come back again! This unique and charming tiny house is perfect for families, and it keeps getting better every time we visit.

Quick overnight stop - Cute and well stocked

Wish we had more time but we arrived late due to horrible traffic on the 35. Amazing container home. Easy location, great comm with owner, fully stocked. Our 3 teens enjoyed their space downstairs and my husband and I enjoyed our space upstairs. Would definitely come back for a longer stay maybe a girls weekend for our teens and I.

Unique, fun, and convenient

We (grandma, mom, teen girl) stayed here for one night for a short trip to Waco and loved it - wish we could have stayed longer! This was a perfect setup for us to have some space, even in a “tiny” home and was super comfortable. Directions were great, and these hosts have really thought of everything (like backlit unit numbers). The horses next door were a bonus! It’s good to know that the third bed is a twin air mattress, and that there are extra sheets for that but no extra blankets, so bring your own if you’ll have someone using that. This spot was well worth the money and we are already planning our next trip - we loved not having to do any cleanup, etc before leaving.

5 star…….0ne suggestion for property owners for safety……be extra careful when going out the door to go up the spiral staircase. One has a tendency to be looking DOWN at the boardwalk to avoid stepping off and you can get a pretty hard knock on the head, as the spiral staircase is CLOSE to the front door. We finally hung a plastic bag on the staircase as a warning. A pool noodle could be mounted at head level on the staircase corner. You MAY need to use the little space heater when it’s cold as there aren’t any extra blankets. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back AND refer our friends! Thank you!

Tiny house in a slice of heaven

The property was clean and well organized. The property manager was super attentive and made sure it we were all set! It was a great evening stop for us while we were on our way for a 36hr Kayak Fishing trip, will definitely book again!

Peaceful unique spot!

We really enjoyed our stay! Check-in was super easy (all digital) & upon arrival, the house was clean and exactly as portrayed online. There were some horses roaming just across the way which was super exciting for our two young girls. Our girls loved the tiny home experience!

So unique!

Wonderful Experience

The house is wonderful, clean adnnd smelled so good. The house is comfortable and the views are amazing. The house came with coffee, creamer and filtered water. Netflix was also available on the tvs. The host communicated the most our of all VRBOs I have ever experienced. I literally had no questions because they communicated so well and was available. It was such a wonderful experience for my family to stay. Thank you Kenneth and Amanda's for this wonderful experience.

Container home was perfect!

Perfect space for my son and I for Baylor Homecoming Weekend. The container home was clean, fun, well-stocked, and especially loved the rooftop patio to kicking back and watching the sun set over the fields.
