This is a very nice place with a fantastic , bbq, pool and hot tub area. The place is comfortable and has everything you need. John has a great stock of snorkeling gear, water fun gear and everything you would need for the beach. He was very responsive and great to deal with.

The property was great. Only issue I had was that it didn’t have AC, but it wasn’t listed as having it. Just didn’t know the difference for my first VRBO in Hawaii. Make sure to check pool and fitness times.

I have been to the Big Island multiple times and stayed at various locations. This vacation rental was perhaps the best value and location of all my stays. Waikoloa Village is a great choice - close to Kohala beaches and a quick jaunt over the Saddle Road to the Hilo side. We visited the erupting volcano twice and the drive over was very smooth from the village. Great choice! Friendly complex manager and overall fantastic trip.

We loved the location as it was centrally located for exploring the entire island. Lots of helpful items available which is a huge plus when traveling. Mostly clean except for floor so I still give it a 4 star for that compared to others we have rented!

This was a great place for our family of 5. It had everything we needed. Well stocked kitchen, beach towels, chairs, etc. We were very happy with the condo. The pool area was nice as well. John was very responsive when we had questions.

Part of a great condo rental is the owners. John is always fast with a response to inquiries and is very helpful. This was our 2nd 6 week stay and we have schedule another 6 weeks for 2019. The condo is like our home away from home.

Communication with the owner is very good and prompt. The condo is very clean and uncluttered. It was nice to have empty closets and drawer which is not always the case with some VRBO units. The condo was well equipped and I guess the best recommendation is we would rent it again.

We had a wonderful stay in John’s condo. Everything was exactly as stated and we were definitely not disappointed. John was very helpful when we had a question. The weather wasn’t always the greatest but that isn’t John’s fault. Thank you John for letting us stay in your unit.

The accommodation, was fine, most every thing we needed was available in the condo, coolers, mask’s snorkels, towels etc. The overall complex i.e. pool and buildings need a bit of tender, loving care. The pool had some missing tile, it didn’t affect use of the pool, but brought attention to the need for some overall maintenance is needed on the outside of the complex.

The unit was well supplied. The beds are comfortable. The price was good. However, this is in an apartment complex. Underneath are permanent residents, with several children, including a baby, who are quite noisy. Would encourage guests to bring earplugs. The earplugs worked well for us at nighttime.

Has everything you need, well equipped, kitchen beach gear, golf clubs etc, complex is well kept and clean but had more of a local residential feel than a vacation home, lots of children playing on an around stairs to the unit in the evening. I thought having no ac would be ok but unit was a bit hot even with multiple fans going. Owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Overall it was a good experience and value for the money

Just finished a 10-day trip to the Big Island and stayed at John & Carol’s condo. What a nice place, in a good location, close to several tourist destinations, the airport, and beaches, but far enough away from the resorts so that you could feel like you were experiencing Hawaii and not just another vacation resort by Hilton or Marriott.... Condo is a nice size, having 2 bathrooms was a bonus, and a washer & dryer to get the salt water out of your suits. They have snorkel gear, coolers, beach towels so you don’t have to pack them. Nice breeze blows through to keep you comfortable especially at night. Gated community with a store and gas station close by (5 min drive). We stocked up on groceries, ate breakfast before heading out for the day, packed a lunch to take with us, and then ate some dinners out and some at the condo - saved $$ to do more fun stuff like helicopter tour over the lava flow, and night snorkel with the manta rays! We loved it, great hosts that provide a lot of tips and ideas too.

The owner was fantastic in reaching out and giving travel suggestions. Unfortunately, the tennis courts were closed due to construction. The pool was nicely maintained. The hot tub was having mechanical problems. The location is quite a drive from the beaches, but most things are a drive on the big island. Fantastic snorkeling. The best in Hawaii.
