「Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and had many options. At check in we were treated to chips and salsa and a trail mix snack bar. Hotel is very close to the Heartland bike trail which connects to Paul Bunyon trail which is the longest bicycle trail in Minnesota.
Staff allowed us to extend out check out time to by an hour which gave us enough time ride the trails before checking out.
Staff were very friendly and easy to talk to.」

「Our week in Park Rapids frequently involved unexpected changes involving our stay at the Heartland Inn and through it all the front desk staff was outstanding in helping work with our changing needs. We were very thankful for their friendly, professional service. Next time we are in Park Rapids we will look no further than The Heartland Inn.」

「I like the simple AmericInn design, the breakfast, the pool and hot tub. I didn't like not having an elevator and on this visit the hot tub was out of order. My wife and I are in goood shape so the lack of an elevator didn't bother us much.」

「This was the worst motel I have ever experienced.
There was no hotel staff on the property.
The room temp was extremely cold and there was no way to adjust the AC. When I moved the shower curtain the rod fell on my head. The bathroom was dirty and moldy caulk. I called Expedia to cancel and they had to contact the hotel to do that. Expedia attempted to call them and did not get an answer. I contacted my CC company immediately to advise that I would be disputing this $844 charge. I recommend...
