Welcome to Lorelai’s Lair — Your Peaceful Mountain Escape in the Smokies Tucked away at the end of a quiet lane in the stunning Great Smoky Mountains, Lorelai’s Lair offers the perfect blend of privacy, comfort, and rustic charm. Surrounded by nature and set on over three acres, this cozy 2-bedroom, 1.5-bath cabin is your ideal home away from home—perfect for a romantic getaway, small family retreat, or relaxing weekend with friends. Start your mornings rocking on the front porch with coffee in hand, or unwind in the evening under the stars from the bubbling four-person hot tub on the back deck. You’ll love the peaceful atmosphere—complete with chirping birds, roaming deer, and the occasional rooster or whippoorwill serenade. Inside, the open floor plan features hardwood floors, a wood-burning fireplace (firewood provided), and a comfy seating area with a 39" HD TV and VCR for cozy movie nights. The main floor has a full bedroom and bathroom, while the upstairs loft includes a second sleeping area and a convenient half-bath. Pet lovers rejoice—dogs are welcome (sorry, no cats due to allergies), and a partially fenced yard makes it easy to let your pup explore. Step directly from the porch into nature or take a scenic stroll around the quiet neighborhood. Located near the NC-GA border, Lorelai’s Lair is just minutes from charming towns like Hayesville, Brasstown, Murphy, and Hiawassee, GA. You'll be close to Lake Chatuge, Fontana Dam, the John C. Campbell Folk School, the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds, and some of the best trout fishing in the region (licenses required). Outdoor adventures abound—boat rentals, kayaking, canoeing, hiking trails—and there's no shortage of local charm with antique shops, a movie theater, and delicious hometown eateries nearby. Perfect weekend away

Everything was great! The home was very nice and clean. Enjoyed the view, the privacy, and the large deck on the back with the hot tub and hammock. Absolutely will stay here again.
