"The guest house was conveniently located to Rt 86, yet was very remote and quiet. This was our first stay at a Vrbo, and check-in/out and the stay went smoothly. The living area was spacious and clean. The bed was against the wall on one side and the mattress seemed a bit slanted, otherwise it was comfortable. Great location, walking distance to downtown, restaurants, etc. It is a 3rd floor apartment, so if you have a lot of luggage or don't do steps well, might not be the property for you.... but it's clear in the description it's on the 3rd floor so I hope no one would complain. "We stayed for a long weekend to see the eclipse. We had a small issue with the lockbox checking in but they were super quick to rectify that as the owner lives next door. We loved the grounds because it gave my 2 year an opportunity to explore. The house is up on a hill so you do get a nice little view of the lake as well. It’s an old farm house and it has a lot of charm. Everything we needed was provided. It is also close to all the wineries in North East. I would definitely stay there again!"

"For the 3 of us, it was great. We enjoyed the Presque isle hiking trails, kayaking and boat tour spread out over 3 days. Local meadery was a nice find. Campfire Friday and Saturday nights. "Great location, able to walk everywhere- market, restaurants, church, and the lake. Plenty of bedroom space, well appointed kitchen. Most is in good condition. Nice big dining table and chairs for meals and games. Easy parking. Drawbacks- steep, narrow staircase to beds and bathroom. Several uneven thresholds. These can trip even the careful. I don’t think I would recommend for elderly or small children because of stairs. That being said, the place had old fashioned charm with modern comforts."
