This is the perfect house for those groups wishing to be close to Old Town Alexandria or DC with the benefits of being in a lovely home close to restaurants and other amenities. Parking is free and there are no parking restrictions.

As your host, I have decorated the house using a modern Scandinavian interior design. With my ancestry being half Swedish and half Norwegian, you will enjoy the beauty and comfort of furniture and finishes sourced in Sweden, Denmark, and Norway. On display throughout the house are photos from a world famous drone photographer from Sweden, Tobias Hagg.

Old Town Alexandria is only minutes away by car or scooter. Mount Vernon Avenue is only two blocks away and offers multiple restaurants, shopping and scooter and bike rentals.

Mark is an excellent host. Unit is as advertised except for the exterior photo. It is clean and comfortable and we'd stay there again in a heartbeat. Which is a promise since we vist Alexandria a lot for family "stuff." A+

Coffee lovers heaven!
This property was truly a comfy, cozy stay. With delicious coffee and espressos provided, the dining table was very comfortable to sit around with the six of us and enjoy a tasty breakfast from the Junction Bakery which is a convenient short walk. Mark, the host, was on top of things and was even there when we arrived. The beds were super comfortable after a long day of sightseeing. It is a great location and very quiet. One note, just make sure you can climb stairs rather easily as both bathrooms are either upstairs or downstairs.

Great alternative for a hotel for a work meeting.
We needed a place to stay for a team meeting. This place was perfect in location and size. The backyard provided a nice table with lights to sit outside and unwind after a long day. The neighborhood is safe and great for walks in for dinner or exercise. Host is very close (next door) and very responsive… lots of good coffee options.

The perfect place to stay on vacation!
This is a GREAT house in a GREAT location! Super clean and very well stocked! Everything is cozy and aesthetically pleasing - and the coffee set up made us feel spoiled and was super generous! We were close to everything with a short drive and the owner was so kind and had lots of great suggestions. The patio and yard were also very enjoyable! Great for families or friends with plenty of space and parking. We will definitely book again when we are back in the area!

Great house, great location
This duplex was perfect for us. Our two teenagers each got their own room, which they loved. The beds were super comfortable. The place was nicely decorated and the Nespresso with an assortment of pods and coffee maker with an assortment of beans were a nice touch for a coffee-lover like me. The neighborhood is nice and felt safe. Friendly neighbors. Close to a metro station, although we just drove into DC and parked. It’s a short drive when not rush hour. Mark had just the right amount of communication. I would definitely stay here again!

Property was ideally located in quiet residential neighbor...bur only 5 minute walk from dozens of boutique eateries, grocers, and pharmacy. Premisis were extremely well-organized and modern. Access to wireless network and other electronics was simple and without problems. Everything worked like it was supposed to. Clearly a well, and comprehensively conceived and maintained VRBO. Communication with host was fluid and always timely. No issues with any aspect of the stay.
