Takoma, DC is a lovely neighborhood with tons to do and easy access to Downtown DC, the beltway and everything else the DC area has to offer! Our cozy home offers plenty of space for a family or several adults, with a fully equipped kitchen! There are many fantastic dining options in Takoma Park and near by Silver Spring. Walk to both downtown Takoma and the metro in minutes, no car needed to get where you need to go! There is plenty of free parking if you do have a car.

Our home away from home

I can’t say enough good things about this property and our hosts Jamie and Victor. This was our home away from home for the summer of 2021 as our son was receiving medical care at NIH. The house had everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible. It allowed us to remain isolated due to our son’s medical condition as well as the pandemic. Everything worked and we had plenty of space to spread out in the house. The back bedroom served as an office for my husband who worked remotely during our stay. The house was conveniently located and within walking distance to everything we needed. Jamie and Victor were extremely flexible and accommodating at all times and especially when our situation changed due to unforeseen medical events. We look fondly back at our time spent there and are grateful for Jamie and Victor for opening this property up to us while we were there. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Classic Takoma House

Classic Bungalow Takoma house in a quiet tree lined street walkable to downtown Takoma and metro. Very walkable for families and seniors. Good communication with owners. Would book again.

Ideal location for visiting DC and surrounding areas

This comfortable home is located in a wonderful neighborhood with great restaurants and shops, and provided a perfect jumping off point for visits to downtown DC and other locations such as the National Arboretum and Rock Creek Park. There was plenty of space in the bungalow, which includes a well-equipped kitchen that allowed us to prepare many meals at home. We'd love to stay there again on future visits to the DC area!
