The shuttle that drove us to the local train station was convenient, since the station was one half mile away and it rained all day. I appreciated the complementary breakfast which I thought would be continental but included hot food such as scrambled eggs, potatoes, and waffles. The room's bathroom was very large which is ideal for those in wheelchairs.

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful and informative; top marks for them. The included breakfast offerings were numerous and tasty; a very good start to the day before exploring DC. The room was neat and clean. The free shuttle was especially helpful to and from Union Station as a starting point for a walking tour of the National Mall. We walked to nearby restaurants (Union Market) for our evening meals. The hotel was about a quarter mile to the nearest Metro (NoMa-Galluadet U), which provided easy access to anywhere in DC. (Free shuttle if you don't want to walk that far.)
