Our family of 5 was very comfortable in this beautiful home. It has so much character, amazing artwork throughout, and all the amenities we needed. The beds were comfortable and even the couch was comfy for one teenager who didn’t want to share a bed. Plenty of blankets, towels, pillows, and seating. The kitchen had all the dishes and supplies we needed for some light cooking for a few meals. The master bedroom is spacious and filled with light from tall windows. The bathrooms are small but everything worked just fine. The contact person was responsive to my texts asking about the keypad (we got confused but it worked fine—user error!). Be aware the alley behind the house for parking is very narrow, so go slow and tuck your side mirrors in if you have a large vehicle.
I can’t say enough about how charming Georgetown is. The brick sidewalks, historic homes, cafes, shops, all within walking distance. Georgetown University gave us a great tour for our prospective students. All the DC attractions are a short Uber ride away. Honestly, we were sad to leave and highly recommend this very cool, unique house.
