Amazing stay, not surprising

We have stayed at one of these cottages many times. They are very well maintained, and we love the fact that they have a garage, especially when you stay in the winter and the overnight temperatures are below zero. We already have our next stay scheduled.

The property was exactly what we were expecting and hoping for. The rental was very clean, there were plenty of towels, pillows etc and lovely little extra touches to make the rental cozy and homey. We enjoyed our stay.

Always a great place to stay!

This was my 3rd time staying at this property (twice in summer and once in winter). It's a gorgeous property, very good use of space, clean, and comfortable. This was my first time using the heated garage and it was very convenient to have the car not covered with ice/snow. The property is close to restaurants and grocery stores. The kitchen is easy to cook in. They provide some trash bags and dish detergent. The wifi is good as well. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Alaska.

Great Place!

Delightful -- well appointed (especially in kitchen utensils). Wonderful to have welcome snacks and plenty of coffee for the stay! Owners prompt and thorough in communication. It is easy to get to from not only Hwy 3 but also subsidiary roads if you want to avoid the Wasilla traffic. Be sure to read welcome manual in advance about the heating system!

A garage you can actually use!

My husband and i were looking to get away from home for the weekend and found this gem, so we booked for a weekend we thought was perfect. The next day our daughter trlls us she has something going on with high school the weekend i had just booked. I immediately contacted our host to see if there was anything we could to do maybe change the weekend up to the weekend before i had initially scheduled. About 10 minutes later, i received a message saying that our weekend has been changed and no aditional fees were needed. Amazing customer service! The house was perfect for us, super clean, and had everything you needed. Most Vrbo homes have a garage but you cant use them and i was plesently surprised to be able to use their garage. It will definitely be nice if we visit during the winter months. Loved the location and the recommendations for dining! We would definitely recommend thus property to anyone.

Stoneridge Place Cottage....Better Than Hotel Room

We travel often, and usually stay at hotels. Stoneridge Place Cottages superior, and here is why. Private: Detached cottages (no shared walls/quiet). Attached garage: (heated) with direct access to unit. Full kitchen: With stainless steel appliances and granite counters. Polished cement flooring: (also heated) thru out unit. Large flatscreen tv: with fast internet/cable/streaming. Bathrooms: also with granite and stone (shower/tub). Laundry in unit. Beds very comfortable! Fully furnish, and super clean! Close to shopping/ restaurants, but in quiet/safe neighborhood. Reasonably priced. Property manager (Craig) extremely professional and helpful. We will be staying here again next year when visiting family in Wasilla.

Cute little house

We came during the off season (January) and the house was perfect for our stay. Clean, cute and nice/new appliances. Having the garage to park in was a nice bonus. The floors in the house are concrete, so bring slippers or house shoes.

Simple Modern Cabin

The cabin had all of the modern amenities we wanted. It was a great central location for us to base ourselves from to do day trips to seward, independence mine, and talkeetna. We didn't have any problems. I loved that it had one room with two single beds beds because my kids never want to share a queen.

Weekend Getaway

Cute unit on a fairly busy street which resulted in some traffic noise. It was very convenient to have 2 bathrooms and the beds were great. The items in the kitchen were thoughtfully selected....useful essentials without a lot of superfluous stuff ie; old food and condiments. Perfect. Appreciated the nice toiletries. Loved having a garage. My final comment has to do with the water which seems to leave a gritty film on all the dishes. I rewashed before using. Perhaps a water filter would remedy this minor issue in an otherwise comfortable stay.

Home away from home

I appreciated the size of the cottage as this was a 6-week stay. I used this property as a base while visiting in Alaska. I had plenty of room to set up a sewing corner for the rainy days. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fairly well stocked (though I did have to get a good paring knife and a can opener which I have found a common need at vrbo units). The hot water was plentiful which was lovely after a day of hiking! For my family and me the location was good for access to shopping and recreation as well as to the library and church. The outdoor patio area was a plus for relaxing after a busy day and the area was kept well maintained. The owners are local so I knew any issues would be dealt with quickly (there were no issues). Highly recommend.

Quick getaway

This place is so great!! It's very modern, completely spotless, and quiet. We really loved it. It's also in a very convenient location. We live in Bethel (400 miles west of Anchorage) and don't love the busyness of Anchorage (although that will make some laugh as it's not a big city). This house is close enough to Anchorage that you can get back there if needed without much effort, but you are near the conveniences of Wasilla and still somewhat removed to feel more calm. If you are heading north for more of your journey you're in great position. We will definitely stay here again!
