“We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend at the Northwoods cabin! The neighborhood surrounding the cabin was quiet and peaceful so I took advantage of that and went for many walks!Additionally my kids kayaked and paddle boarded in the lake in the backyard. Luckily there was a boat rental, and we were able to rent a pontoon for the day! We had beautiful weather and were able to check out the chain of lakes. I’m not one for swimming in lakes, but the water here was clear and was a great temp! We……

“The cabin is extremely clean, well stocked with kitchen essentials for cooking & the beds comfortable. We could not connect to WiFi, however, & our questions to host weren’t answered. If you plan to work from cabin or need WiFi, make arrangements ahead to ensure connectivity. This was a minor issue for us & overall enjoyed our stay & would definitely recommend this place. ”

“If you want the perfect lakeside vacation, this is the place. Beautiful, quiet area with gorgeous views. The cabin had plenty of room for our group of 14. “ We came up from Kansas City and stayed Sunday to Saturday. Everything we needed for our vacation! The bed was comfortable, the AC and heat worked great. When we wanted to watch the Royals post season game, we grabbed our laptop and watched out at the campfire. Wifi Signal was great. Did some fishing. The lake was nice and calm. “Was a wonderful getaway with my family. Plenty of space for everyone, indoor and out. We especially loved the lower level game room, lots of fun for all ages. The deck was a nice gathering spot, we saw a mama turkey and her babies. Was nice to be able to prepare meals together without getting in eachothers way.There is a no shoes in the house policy, I would suggest bringing some comfy slippers as most of the house is tile.”
