"Well just like everywhere I go I seem to have an issue with my Support dogs not being exempt from fees like it’s stated here! So most don’t claim exemption in their websites or anywhere else so you can imagine the trouble I’m having as I have 2 support animals and I go from planing on no fees to have very high fees! It also starts off my stay with me being portrayed negatively because I just argued with them that why do they claim exemption then when it comes time to check in it’s different! I’ve found that my Registered And Certified PSM Support Animals don’t get to sleep with me anywhere as I book a suite and everytime I’m told they don’t allow pets in those rooms! Then we get booked into stinky pet rooms at Suite prices because they can change it because I book here! So I’ve learned now that it’s hotels.com that says they are exempt when they are not! This property along with most don’t spend the extra pet fee money on cleaning the pet rooms! Our dogs tell us with their nose how clean room is by how much they sniff around! You compile the problem by not properly cleaning the rooms after each stay because most house trained males won’t try marking a spot that’s been properly cleaned! I also know how hard it is to clean up after animals and it’s not fun! Well then if you can’t properly do it then don’t be Pet friendly like you claim because it isn’t at all friendly after we get here and see the conditions! "

And to top it off, Trollhaugen ski slopes we're just a few minutes away with easy access.The cabin itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. Every detail felt thoughtfully considered, from the cozy furnishings to the fully stocked kitchen that made meals easy and enjoyable. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the living space was warm and inviting—perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors.What really set this place apart was the atmosphere. Mornings with coffee on the deck, evenings by the fire, and the quiet sounds of nature all around made it feel like a true getaway. Whether you’re looking to unwind, spend quality time with family, or explore the surrounding area, this cabin delivers.The host was also fantastic—responsive, helpful, and clearly dedicated to making sure guests have a great experience.We’ve stayed at quite a few vacation rentals over the years, and this one stands out as one of the best. We would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay in Wisconsin."

"Room was very clean, staff was amazing, only reason I could not give a 5 star review was due to room location. Directly across from front deck and close to front door, this causes a lot of noise just outside our room. Food in the resteraunt was very good as well. "

"Sidewalks weren’t maintained during our visit…VERY ICY!The one bedroom at the top of the stairs on the left with the has a broken bed. One of the guests did not sleep well either night. When he sat down on the bed the other side of the mattress went up in the air and the bed frame was broken. The bedroom we stayed in appeared to have used sheets…very wrinkled and wasn’t made up very well giving it the appearance of dirty sheets. The floors throughout the house weren’t the cleanest, especially the kitchen. The one corner of the bedroom we were in had spider webs and dead bugs. The front entryway had dead Asian beetles on the floors. "

"What a cozy cabin, well-equipped, and a gorgeous view over the lake. Deer passing through the yard, and a pair of eagles perching right outside the sunroom. Beds were very comfortable."
