“Another commenter said small bathroom which is correct. Very small! But still good running water and shower overall. Also the commenter said the bed and sheets are very nice. Yes. Very nice! We were in back of apartment house and so city noise very very little. I am less certain if we were in the front as it faces near the freeway. But this is a great place and well located.”

“Giving this unit 5 stars mostly for location and convenience! In the middle of Newbury street walking all around Boston was a breeze as was finding nearby bars, restaurants and shopping. Be prepared for noise (we didn’t mind), but when you choose to stay on a busy street it’s unavoidable!”

“We only stayed one night and it was everything we needed and the location was good. It's essentially a full studio apartment so it would be great for a longer stay!”

“Our stay was great. The location was very convenient. Near two subway (T) stations. Orange and Green lines. We did not attend any theater performances, but theaters were within a block or two. We needed refresh of some supplies, and host had them delivered. We did not do any cooking, but all needed equipment appeared to be present. It appeared the apartment had recently been painted and some furniture relocated compared to the picture. We found key retrieval to be easy using the T……

“A great location, convenient to all the places we needed to go! It was a little tight for 3 adults but we made it work since we weren't there but to sleep. The shower was hot and the A/C kept it cool and drowned out the street noise. They could use a luggage rack in the closet as all our stuff was laid out on the floor or table. Also, replace all the cheap broken hooks with something more sturdy so we can hang towels. Would stay again if we went back to Boston.”

“We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean and in a good location. Only gripes we had are the water pressure in the shower is low and there was a sickening, insect spray smell coming from the room across the hall. Only smelled it in the hallway, not in the room. ”

“We had a great stay in Boston and the Chester was perfect for our trip. First time in Boston so we did a lot of the usual things, but this location was great to easily connect with bus and train options as we decided not to rent a vehicle. Space was comfortable for group of three - lots of shops and restaurants in the area. We were touring a lot, so didn’t spend a lot of time in the unit, but it was very comfortable and would definitely come back again!”
