Strand Palace Hotel

"The hotel is directly opposite the Savoy theatre which was convenient for us to see Paddington the musical. Our room was not ready when we arrive and we were given a drinks voucher to get drinks in the bar while we waited, The reason I have only given 4 stars is that I booked a room for three adults. The room was only set up for two. We found cleaners and asked for additional towels and bedding for the pull out bed. He gave us towels but we had to contact reception for bedding. There were no english breakfast tea bags only fancy ones. Only bottles of water for two. Apart from that no other complaints about the hotel"

"Would have been nice to have stamps available at the desk area. instead of having to walk around to multiple external locations to find them. Especially over a weekend or later at night when a P.O. is not open. And it would have been nice for the Green usage to be used for breakfast at the hotel. The Starbucks had limited breakfast selection and the other food options did not open till lunchtime."

"For being on the lower end price wise in London this hotel was excellent! Staff was so helpful and very kind at reception and the bar! It’s located perfectly with the Tower of London literally across the street and public transport is right there. Also if you you’re planning on getting Ubers/taxis this was the easiest/quickest stop for them to get to you!"

"On arrival met by very friendly staff. Went straight to my room (6th floor- no lift) on arrival nice large room basic furniture and a sink A double bed (requested) and a single. Shower and toilet same floor couple Mt's away. Comfy bed. I didn't have breakfast on offer till 9am. Great location...quite....and very good value for money!! I will be back and will request lower floor!"
