“Absolutely lovely. The accommodation is excellent - a superior barn conversion. Really fabulous on a working farm. Hen Curtis was very friendly as well as her dogs Fido (retired sheep dog) Jumble mixed Labby/Poodle, Pinto young sheep dog. All love a good bit of stroking (not Hen!!!!). Relaxing place to be with great walks on and around the farm. Not to be missed.”

“We stayed from 25th Aug-1st Sept. The property totally exceeded our expectations which were extremely high. The facilities are second to none, it felt like a home from home but in much more beautiful surroundings. Orchard House is very close to all amenities but secluded for peace and tranquility. There was a lovely offering on arrival in the form of a welcome pack, totally unexpected and a treat. The owners were friendly and chatted to members of my family. I cannot recommend this property……

“The bedrooms were perfect for 3 or 4 friends to share. The kitchen had everything needed. Its almost next to a pub with other lovely pubs within 10 mins drive. It was quiet and peaceful. ”

“This was ideal for me. I loved it here. It was really peaceful. I couldn't hear a thing apart from the birds and the occasional sheep. I stayed for 4 days and I wished it could have been longer. There is no TV in the hut which also suits me to the ground. The wi-fi is excellent so if you do want to watch something on an I pad or tablet you will have no problem with the reception. There was a nice touch with tea making facilities and scones provided for the 4 days that I was there. I cannot……

“Our entire experience at this property was nothing short of amazing. The cottage was beautiful and cozy, and the explorable land was incredible and undeniably peaceful. The land was wonderfully maintained and secluded, providing a feeling of safety and tranquility. Inside the cottage there was everything that we needed (a microwave, fridge, small freezer, cooker, washing machine, etc), as well as a beautiful log burner that the hosts had made sure was well-stocked. The beds were very comfortable……

“A really lovely property very comfortable and spacious had everything you needed for a lovely relaxing break good position to get about Graham and Andy were exceptional host loved the scone cream &strawberries and we had some lovely strawberries from there garden our 2 doggy's loved the space to run around so they enjoyed there holiday too would definitely come back and stay in this wonderful cottage we were very lucky had fab weather ”
