“Every thing you could possibly need for a comfortable stay is in the cottage even down to a dishwasher . The village has a couple of pubs which do food at reasonable prices and a minimarket and bakers so is ideal for a quiet and comfortable stay”

“We stayed in The Stables - which was charming, clean, cosy and peaceful. It definitely felt like a home from home. The pool was great and used by us all. The setting is scenic and close to lots of things to do - wonderful scenery, zoo, boat trips, lovely villages, and cafes. Aidan is a very good host and really nice and friendly. We will definitely be back and will recommend to friends and family. ”

“Check in was simple, the cottage was so clean and well set out, kitchen well stocked with equipment, Wi-Fi worked well. There are very little transport links in the village so you will need to drive. The village is so lovely and the cottage is well positioned for local walks, parking and the pub which is amazing. Would throughly recommend this cottage and will book in future.”

“Absolutely lovely. The accommodation is excellent - a superior barn conversion. Really fabulous on a working farm. Hen Curtis was very friendly as well as her dogs Fido (retired sheep dog) Jumble mixed Labby/Poodle, Pinto young sheep dog. All love a good bit of stroking (not Hen!!!!). Relaxing place to be with great walks on and around the farm. Not to be missed.”

“We stayed from 25th Aug-1st Sept. The property totally exceeded our expectations which were extremely high. The facilities are second to none, it felt like a home from home but in much more beautiful surroundings. Orchard House is very close to all amenities but secluded for peace and tranquility. There was a lovely offering on arrival in the form of a welcome pack, totally unexpected and a treat. The owners were friendly and chatted to members of my family. I cannot recommend this property……
