  • Chalet "Helene". On the outskirts, 600 m from the centre of Wengen, in a quiet, sunny position on a slope, 150 m from the edge of the forest. In the house: central heating system, washing machine, tumble dryer (for shared use). Pre-arrival grocery service. Shop, supermarket 750 m, restaurant, bar 450 m, bakery 700 m, 12 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Lauterbrunnen (by train)" 3.8 km, railway station "Wengen" 750 m, outdoor swimming pool 1 km. Cable car, skisport facilities 600 m. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thunersee 13 km, Brienzersee 13 km. Please note: car-free holiday complex. Arrival via mountain railway. Additional accommodations can be booked. Arrival is only possible by train from Lauterbrunnen – 14 minutes driving time.

Large kitchen-/living room (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Nespresso) extra, raclette grill, fondue Set (cheese)). 2 baths/WC, shower/WC. Large balcony. Balcony furniture. Very beautiful panoramic view of the mountains and the valley. Facilities: hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: suitable for families. Non-smokers only. Maximum 2 pets/ dogs allowed.

Fabulous

The best place our walking group has ever stayed in. Such a great spot, with lovely views to wake up to. The apartment has everything you need, and worked very well for our group of 8 women. No hesitation in recommending.

Swiss Fam visit 2024

Chalet Helene was exquisite. Our family of 5 adults shared the 3BR/3BA lodge in a comfortable, spacious, fully equipped place with breathtaking views of the Swiss Alps. The location was in a quiet section of town with a lovely, easy walk to the center (6-8 minutes). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place to all travelers looking for a very special chalet. Thank you, the Pennington Family.

Stunning apartment with fabulous views

We stayed here as a group of 8 women for a short hiking holiday in October. We were lucky with the weather and the apartment gave us fantastic views of the valley and peaks. The place is quiet, clean, warm and well-equipped. Good space for boots and coats. Check-in process, with a key pick-up from a locker, was smooth and easy and it was great to be able to leave our bags at the office for a couple of hours when we checked out. Thoroughly recommended!

Voldoet precies aan onze wensen

Wij zijn met 6 volwassenen, 3 kinderen en 1baby. Chalet Helene/app Diane is daar bij uitstek voor geschikt. Er zijn in Wengen weinig of geen zo grote appartementen. Het is praktisch: grote keuken, aparte zitkamer, 3 badkamers. Geen bed in zitkamer is fijn.

Amazing location and beautiful views

I stayed with my family at the beginning of May and despite the rainy weather we absolutely loved it! It was our first time visiting Switzerland and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. The location of the apartment was perfect, only 15 min walking distance to the station (bit of an uphill walk!) The views were absolutely incredible from the apartment, we could have stayed here all day. The kitchen was very well equipped with all utensils you may need, had good cleaning supplies and the apartment was cleaned very well. It is a very cosy apartment, perfect for a family. They even had some games to play like Jenga and cards! The only thing is that some bathrooms don’t have locks so keep that in mind when travelling with a big group!
