「The Hotel was fine and the evening meal was excellent the only let down was the fact that the hotel has stopped serving breakfasts and also the windows from my room could do with a good cleaning.」

「Lovely hotel in an ideal spot for walks along the Dorset coast」

「The room was clean, shower over the bath, but could be a problem to older guests encluding my wife. Placed my towel on the edge of the bath but it was not replaced, but we were told it had to be in the bath. At breakfast we were served with an overcooked fried egg on our first morning, the next morning we had a very greasy and hard fried egg with black bits on and the mushrooms were cold.」

「Great staff, lovely environment and super place to stay.」

I could not praise them highly enough. Rooms are well proportioned, clean and the shared spaces are great. The food is exceptional.」

「Lovely clean large room. Great tv with a superb picture. Plenty of tea / coffee and biscuits welcome tray. We were surprised how quiet our sleep was, the pub below was busy but no sound from it. The staff at the front desk were helpful and accommodating. One gentleman even arranged to have housekeeping launder a few shirts for...

「A lovely b&b. Absolutely perfect for us. Would recommend anyone.」

「Very enjoyable stay at The George. Staff very helpful, breakfast was great, didn't need lunch any of the days we stayed. Room 3 was perfect for a family, two separate rooms with a bathroom in between.」

「Lovely place to stay, convenient for town and for visiting Dorsey County Hospital which was my main reason for visiting Dorchester.」
