"This was our first vrbo property rental and we couldn’t have been happier! Very clean, lots of room for our families to enjoy the weekend together. The children thoroughly enjoyed playing outside on the large property. Lots to do and keep us busy. BBQing lunch was a favourite and having two family rooms gave adults and children their own spaces too! "First time renting this home. However we have actually visited this property on a couple different occasions over the years. My wife attended a bachelorette weekend here. I was at a bachelor party across the street a couple years ago. We both agreed the chalet has received many upgrades and was very clean, tidy, and accommodating."

"Absolutely stunning. Beautiful secluded surrounded by nature very peaceful. Was able to connect with myself in a way i havent been able to in a very long time. Enjoyed kayaking, fishing and a nice bonfire. The hottub was a perfect touch to relax ur stressed muscles. "

"Clean and comfortable cottage. It was unfortunate that we could not use the paddleboards or kayaks as the water was quite murky, so we didn't want to swim in it, but we would have liked to be on the water. We chose this cottage specifically because we thought we would be able to access the lake. "

The rooms are very clean, the staff are very friendly, check-in is very efficient and I always get an excellent sleep, the property is very quiet. "We stayed in a 2 queen room in the 'newer' building (attached to the office). The room was lovely, clean and new. It had a decent size mini fridge and microwave, and each unit has a outdoor sitting area for 2 wicker chairs, a table with an ashtray (smoking outdoors only). I could hear people in other rooms, so the walls are a little thin, but I was very surprised at how clean, fresh and new the room was. However - our friends stayed in a single queen room in the old section. I didn't see the room, but they said it was awful. Be sure to request a room in the new section! There is an attached restaurant - we didn't try it, but was open early for breakfast. For a small town - this hotel was GREAT!"

"I was so impressed by this hotel — it has quickly become one of my favorites. The entire property felt clean, fresh, and modern, which made for a really comfortable stay. The suite included a full kitchen, a spacious bathroom, and a separate bedroom, which made it feel more like a home than a hotel room. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, adding to the sense of comfort. Overall, @HOME by Best Western Walkerton is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a clean, convenient, and home-like stay. I’ll definitely be returning on future visits."
