Family Thanksgiving

Cabinlot was perfect for our family. There was plenty of space to spread out but adequate space for all of us to be together. The neighborhood provided endless walking/hiking opportunities in a quiet/safe location. Loved our time there!

Four Generations for NASCAR event

We chose this house for the size and close proximity to North Wilkesboro. All communication with the property management was very nice and organized. The house is absolutely stunning, very clean, plenty of beds and great walking around the property. This house is great for scenic drives and close to other places to visit. We loved our stay and looking forward to going back.

Okay but not the best

The views are not good. The pictures make you think they are but you are surrounded by woods. Our bathroom had not been cleaned. It still had the soap in it from the previous guests. The washing machine had dirty towels in it. Overall, it was not terrible. It is close to west Jefferson, which is a plus. It did not meet our standards for cleanliness. Also, the outside lights didn’t work. We arrived in the dark and my mother fell coming up the steps. The ac thermostat was incorrect. It was either hot or cold. It could never hear or cool to what it was set to. We would not stay here again.

Best Mountain Trip!

Cabin lot was the perfect getaway for our family! We took our dad here to celebrate fathers day and had a blast. The pool table and games downstairs kept us busy throughout the day, the wrap around porch was perfect for sunrise/sunsets, the outdoor fire pit with the s'mores roasting sticks was great. The kitchen came equipped with a ton of utensils/pots and pans/plates so we didn't have to buy any plastic ware. Super clean cabin and the wifi worked great! The only downside is that the water is a HIKE down. Not necessarily in distance, but the steep walk down to the water is tough. My parents weren't able to make it and they're relatively young. There is a loose railing for the first few steps, then a rope to guide you down to the dock, but I definitely don't recommend making the trek with children or elderly. Overall 10/10 experience!

Family trip

My husband and I always celebrate our anniversary with couples. This year we decided to take our kids and my in- laws and niece. We really enjoyed the cabin. My kids loved the fact they could fish. We also tubed down river . Wow... so much fun. The cabin was very clean inside but the porch could have been swept off and straightened up better. But our overall experience was amazing. Thanks!!!!!

Great for a quiet retreat

The house was very clean and just as advertised. We enjoyed the deck, there is a great fire pit for cool evenings, and the lake is perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Mountain Time

We had a wonderful time in West Jefferson. The house was beautiful, well decorated, snd welcoming. The beds were comfortable and my family loved playing pool in the game room. I would recommend this property and would stay here again.
