Relaxing and Convenient

The communication with the owner, Jake was superb! Any questions were quickly answered and Jake was always available for help. The cottage was spotless, beds are better than my own! Lovely quiet enclosed courtyard, entertainment options were great and suited my 3 and 5 year old, mother and myself. Fantastic touch of teabags, coffee, sugar, fresh milk from the local farm, eggs from the rescue chickens and lots of extras like tea towel, washing liquid, tin foil... short drive through the countryside to beaches, farms, attractions... definitely recommend!!

Great getaway

Stayed for a long weekend with our two little girls & this was an ideal base for heading out into the Somerset countryside/coast. Friendly welcome from Jake and everything was a cut above - none of the basic IKEA furniture & kitchenware you often get in holiday rentals.

Lovely well equipped cottage

We had a lovely welcome and the owners had given us fresh local milk and chicken eggs from their own hens. The cottage had everything we needed and was perfectly situated to explore the area. The only thing that let it down was the cleanliness otherwise a lovely place to stop

Lovely cottage

Lovely cottage next to a working farm. The cottage is close to the beach and has a local pub 5 mins away. The cottage is fully equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. We hope to stay there again next year

Alles ist sehr sauber und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett. Eine Fliegenklatsche kann ich nur empfehlen, da auf der anderen Straßenseite Kühe stehen und die Fliegen anziehen. Es ist schön ruhig.

Toller Urlaub in einem schönen Cottage

Absolut empfehlenswert !!! Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in Otter`s Lodge. Das Haus war sehr sauber, es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Die Betten sind super bequem und die gesamte Ausstattung sehr gemütlich. Nach unseren Ausflügen in die nähere und weitere Umgebung konnte man die Abende im Innenhof genießen. Jake. der Vermieter, ist ein sehr netter und sympathischer Typ, der immer zur Stelle war wenn man ihn brauchte und uns bei Fragen sofort weiter geholfen hat. Sollten wir unseren Urlaub noch mal in dieser schönen Gegend verbringen, dann sicherlich in Otter`s Lodge.

Perfection

Just returned from 3 nights away in otters lodge, and the only word that sums it up is perfection, the cottage is lovely, clean, and just so homely,some essentials were left for us to use, milk, tea coffee, toilet rolls, which was a real bonus, the enclosed courtyard was lovely to sit out and have a drink the sun was always out for us, the beds were so comfy as well and on the tele you got to use Netflix and amazon prime which again was great, all in all the cottage is a lil gem and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet holiday

Friendly, helpful host and very clean and comfortable home

Comfortable beds, good shower and surprisingly spacious for a two bedroom cottage with a pretty courtyard space as well. Host, Jake, was always on hand and greeted us in the rain with helpful tips and suggestions. I would recommend this place. Thank you Jake from myself and my boys.

A warm welcome at a lovely holiday cottage

We have just returned from weekend break at the 'Otters Lodge' and were delighted with the property. The owners Lorrayne & Jake made us feel very welcome to what is an immaculately presented property. The cottage was clean, well furnished and beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. If anything, the photo's don't really do it justice! We would definitely recommend this property and hope to stay again in the future.
