Perfect location for beaching

This house was charming, clean and in a very convenient location. Two minuets to beach and four minutes to the wharf and quaint boardwalk. The grocery store is a block and a half away. Super quiet street and larger dog friendly. Was hoping to be able to let my mid size pup rn around the yard but the fence in places have large gaps. Took my girl two seconds to get out and chase a neighbor cat.

Cute little place, centrally located

This is a cute little property perfect for a family of four centrally located between town and the Grayland beaches and just a few blocks from the grocery store and Blackbeard's Brewery. Some small updates could be made like touch up paint and faucets but nothing that interferes with the stay. It doesn't seem like the owners have actually stayed here, I think a few changes would be made if so. We will definitely stay here again. Note there is no AC, no laundry detergent, teapot or plastic wrap. Cheers

Great home!

Clean. Convenient. Quiet. We will be back next summer, and hoping this home will be available! Close to the Marina, beach, stores. Only downfall.... Which has nothing to do with the house. A lot of pubs and brewery that kids aren't allowed in. So go in the store and buy food and cook at home. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Other than that. We love this.

Definitely Dog Friendly - But Good Overall

We had a great time here. The location was perfect, walking distance to the local bar, grocery store, etc. We expected there to be some dog hair (as it is a dog friendly home). However — the bed sheets were absolutely covered in dog hair. I ended up going over everything with a lint roller. We did also find some human hair on the bath towels, as well as more dog hair on the ‘clean towels’ on the shelf. We ended up buying our own at Dollar General. Overall, considering the price, being dog friendly, fenced backyard, we got what I expected. May stay there again, but would definitely bring our own sheets/towels.

Great Stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The home is a nice beach getaway. The beds are comfy. The neighborhood is quiet. The kitchen is well stocked. We enjoyed the beach time and exploring new areas. The only downfalls of our stay is we had our dog with and the backyard is really not safe to even put the dog out for a minute alone. The fence can be easily gone under and we have a 65 pound dog. The neighborhood cats also run all over the property and use the backyard as a litter box. It’s really quite disgusting how much cat poo there is. This has nothing to do with the management team, just making others aware if they have kids or dogs, the backyard is a litter box so be aware. Aside from that, it was a great stay. We would stay again.

Beach home

This is a lovely little house. Perfectly sized for me and my dog. The yard is big enough for him to run around and play if he isn't too worn out from being at the beach all day. The neighborhood is quiet and conveniently located. It's an easy drive or walk to the beach. The front door keypad is wonky and didn't really want to work but the hideakey was fine. Full disclosure, if your dog has a strong prey drive, or is an escape artist, do not leave them off leash in the yard. It's a short fence, and my dog tried to sneak under it. Also, deer are common and they like to eat in a patch of grass just beyond the fence. I enjoyed their company, some dogs might not.

Good location & mostly clean

Location & house was good and mostly maintained. Pros.. Well stocked house, easy check-in / out; looks as described. Cons: Master bathroom tub is peeling and has extremely poor drainage. Ceiling fan has an quarter inc of dust visible from a distance. Master bedroom door knob needs replacing (it is clearly missing peaces and a weight was added to the room, placed at the bottom of the door in case you wanted to close the door and it stayed closed with the weight..... REALLY!?) This was not expected based on a $350/night stay!!!!!

Nice home, door code didn’t work

Really nice. Has everything you need. It was clean upon arrival. Little wear and tear on the house, I noticed the bathroom drain was a bit discolored and a piece of the baseboard was missing. We were not able to get into the house until 40 mins after our arrival time, the code to the lock on the door was not working. Both me and my sister were on hold for 30 mins. It was very unfortunate as we were looking forward to settling in after a long drive. My sister also was planning on using the bathroom so she had to drive down the road.

We have stayed at this rental property in the past. It has always worked out well as its close to the docks and easy access to other amenities. The home is clean and cozy. Would recommend and exterminator for sugar ants and the spare bathroom shower drain be looked at. But for the most part we enjoyed the house and will rebook again for next years fishing excursion.
