Nice and clean room. The kitchen is big compared to other motels we had stayed before. There was only 1 electric heater to heat up the entire room. If stay during the winter time it will be very cold. Needed a bathroom heater too. I think the rooms Needed to be updated. Lot of noises at night when there was strong wind/rain. I thought the roof was about going to blow away.

This is a classic Kiwi motel, complete with original 1970s features. I hope they never change it. The owners are lovely and kind. The rooms are spotlessly clean, with everything you need for your stay. It was quiet and peaceful, in a great location, looking out at the river yet very close to the centre of town. I’m so glad I stayed here.
