This is a haven for wildlife and you may see the resident deer at dawn and dusk.

Located in the quiet village of Stainsacre, with a nearby pub which is popular with the locals due to its hearty home-cooked meals and cosy open fire. It is within easy driving distance of Whitby and other delights of the Yorkshire coast and the surrounding National Park. This is a walker’s dream, embrace the great outdoors and follow one of the nearby trails, it is located next to the Cinder Track running from Whitby, through Stainsacre to Robin Hood’s Bay, Ravenscar and Scarborough. There is also the Cleveland Way along the coastline and the steam train which winds its way over the heather laced hills of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, a delight to explore. There are also ancient forests nearby such as Falling Foss with its waterfall and Dalby Forest, with footpaths, bike trails and zip-lining through the tree tops. For equestrians your horse is welcome to join you so that you can enjoy some of the beautiful trails together. There are stables and a paddock next door (by prior arrangement with the owner, at cost). Beach 2½ miles. Shop ¾ mile, pub ¼ mile and restaurant 2½ miles.
