Suitably named, the apartment has unrivalled views and benefits from alfresco dining on the kitchen balcony and relaxed seating for drinks and entertaining on the second. Renovated to a high standard, this beautifully styled apartment sleeps five guests across three bedrooms making it a perfect choice for luxury coastal getaways.



The Space:

Pier View Penthouse boasts a stunning navy, shaker style kitchen which is fully equipped for self-catering staycations. Also sharing this space is the dining area which features a wooden table and matching benches. Patio doors open out onto the balcony which showcases the most incredible sea views. Take a seat on the balcony and watch the waves as you enjoy your morning coffee.



The cosy living area has two modern sofas and a flat screen TV. After a busy day, you can kick back on the sofa and keep up with your favourite shows.



Pier View Penthouse has three beautiful bedrooms. The master bedroom has an ensuite shower room, comfortable king size bed and patio doors which open out onto a private balcony. The second bedroom has a king size bed and the third bedroom is a single. Each bedroom has plush bedding and premium bed linens to ensure you have the best sleep possible.



The family bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower, WC and basin.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the full apartment. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.



A parking scratch card can be purchased for your stay which gives you parking in the W zones in Whitby. Additional free parking can be found nearby, and full details will be sent to you before check in.



Please note the apartment is located on the fourth floor and there is no lift in the building. Guests should also be aware that some of the ceilings in the apartment can be quite low.



Please note we do not accept bookings for stag / hen parties.



The Neighborhood:

Pier View Penthouse is located on the West Cliff just off the North Terrace so you can expect beautiful sea views. The Blue Flag West Cliff beach and promenade is just a short stroll from the apartment and on Pier Road, you’ll find fun arcades and plenty of fish restaurants where you can sample the catch of the day.



The other side of Whitby is full of narrow, medieval streets dotted with boutiques and pubs. Climb the famous 199 steps up to the Church of Saint Mary. You can also discover the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey, which was the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’.



Step outside of Whitby and you’ll uncover a haven of woodland and moorland. Whitby forms part of the North York Moors National Park so it’s the perfect place for long walks.



Getting Around:

Pier View Penthouse is located in the centre of Whitby so the town can easily be explored on foot.



Whitby train station is just a short 15-minute walk away so villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station.



There are plenty of bus routes throughout Whitby. Hop on the X4 and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes. The X93 travels along the coast to Scarborough. The 95 route features plenty of quaint villages, such as Grosmont and Lealholm.
