Lovely quiet B&B run by nice couple. Great setting within walking distance of pub and beach. Dog friendly though need to be kept on leads in the surrounding area.

Wonderful stay! Me and the better half stayed for two nights and it was amazing! The staff are lovely and the room was incredible! Breakfast was beautiful and brought out quickly. Lovely views and quiet area.

Exceptional service from start to finish, Jasmine was an excellent hostess nothing was to much trouble. The location was superb with ample parking and convenient for walking dogs on nearby beach, easy access to Whitby, Staithes and Saltburn by Sea. The rating of 10 Exceptional couldn't be more accurate, and to top it off the breakfasts are to die for, great work team keep it up 👌

Lovely staff

Lovely hotel tucked away nice and quiet. Nice and clean and the facilities were good. Complimentary breakfast was delicious. Staff faultless. We would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends

Simply stunning place to stay. Tucked away at the end of a picturesque country lane. Accommodation is top drawer. Peaceful and very relaxing. Walkable into Sandsend for fish and chips. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast - top notch. A real gem.

Outstanding In Every Way

My wife, our dog stayed for just the 1 night and our experience was as good as it gets. From arrival, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. The room was exceptional in every way as were the facilities. To top our stay off, our breakfast was simply fabulous. We could not recommend Mulgrave Country Cottage enough. We will of course be returning.

Disappointed

Disappointed given the reviews. Water stains on the ceiling from a leaking roof, damp marks on the wall from an internal leak. Mould on the shower seal, broken mirror light, thread bare towels. Certainly not what we expected. Manager seemed disinterested or distracted, not sure which.
