Such a lovely hotel , staff are great especially serving, I did like this that special touch , great that you can park just across from the hotel , not much of a walk into Whitby , rooms are spotless, maybe could do with a update but very comfortable thanks for welcoming us

I travel a lot for work to hotels all around the world and I can honestly say this was one of the cleanest hotel's I've ever been in... on top of this the staff were super-friendly and the attention to detail was better than some 4 or 5 star hotels I've stayed at. A proper, well-run independent hotel experience!

A very good quality, older style property. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent silver service breakfast. Free parking. Very short walk to beach and town. Highly recommended for a much better than average short stay.

Friendly staff, great location, beds very comfortable, excellent breakfast. Sadly the shower didn't work in our delux room, hence lower rating. Only stayed 1 night so I reported to reception on our way to breakfast.

Everything good, very nice hotel with welcoming and helpful staff.
Good location too, only about 10-15 minutes walk from Whitby museum and art gallery and from Whitby town itself.
No complaints, I was quite happy with my hotel room and breakfast was very good too.

I’ve stayed in hotels all over the world without ever making comment but this time I will.
It is quintessentially Yorkshire charming.
The location is also great for walking into town. Parking is easy and the staff are so very helpful.

Hotel perfectly situated with access to Whitby. Private parking was available. There s no lift in the hotel - which might pose a problem for some! Breakfast was excellent and staff very friendly.
