“The staff were so helpful. I could not figure out the TV remote and they came to my room to help. And it was raining and they told me they had umbrellas and to borrow one if o needed to.”

“Not only is this a delightful heritage home, but the hosts, Rob and Liisa are wonderfully welcoming. The breakfast was fantastic. Lanark is a bit of a backwater, but Perth is nearby with an abundance of places to eat and shop. We highly recommend Clyde Hall!”

“Room was large.. there were large groups of workers staying there and they sat outside drinking beer all afternoon/evening leaving their garbage and beer cans all over”

“Toilet and shower were heavily stained and not sure if sanitary. Bedding was worn and had some stains. One bath towel was thread bare. Mattress was comfortable. Room needs a deep clean, fresh bedding and towels to bring it up to a respectable level. A bit of a funky odor that needs to be rectified. Could easily be a good room with some care and a bit of money spent but will not get repeat customers or recommendations as is.”

“Nice hotel with comfortable beds. Friendly staff. We planned to hike nearby but hiking trails are very limited and the staff didn't seem to know much about it. They gave us a useless map (actually of ski slopes), though we found a map of hiking trails at a nearby lodge ...”

“Il y avait des moisissures dans les couns. Le bain etait rouillé. Les plinthes étaient à demi arrachees . On fournit une cafetière sans ttasses ni verres. La chambre etait vraiment petite.alors que nou avions réservé une chambre à 1 grand lit ( quuen) nous avons eu un lit double. Les infos infiques que shampoo et gel douche sont inclus. Non! nous avions 3 petites bouteilles de lotion hydratante, pas de shampooing ni gel douche. Dans l'ensemble très décevant, heureusement les draps et serviettes……

“The property is terribly lit. There was no light outside of our little complex and no light in the stairwells. There was no place to hang your clothes and no bedside tables to lay your things on. Also, there was a coffee maker with coffee and tea, but no mugs, cups or glasses to drink from. Lots of dust under the bed”
