Good spot for a stop over

Nice big and clean rooms, slightly uodated. Large pub and restaurant attached with front bar and gaming room if you're bored.

Great Stay at the Sundowner Motel We really enjoyed our stay at the Sundowner Motel. It's conveniently located for easy access to Whyalla, making it a great stopover spot. The staff were incredibly friendly and had a “no problem” attitude that made us feel welcome and well taken care of. Our room was quiet, clean, and exactly what we needed. Would definitely recommend to anyone passing through or visiting the area.

It was expensive for a star 2 or 3 place , a long way put of town . Thankfully very good place to eat. Rooms antiquated with glass patterned front door. We could not sleep at all because of the outside light coming through brightly . This need to be changed.

Check in was spontaneously quick. The property layout is well designed, freshly maintained and has easy, yet, direct and roomy parking acess outside your room. Whilst the room, bathroom and facilities exceeded our expectations an outstanding feature for us was the quietness of the the Panasonic airconditiong system.
