I am sorry to write that but this place smelled just awful. We couldn't wait to get out.
The breakfast was one thing which surprised us well for a place like that :)
The Roosevelt Hotel in Wibaux, Montana is under new ownership and new management, and the improvements really show. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and the property feels much cleaner and better cared for.
The rooms are comfortable, the location is convenient right off I-94, and it’s a great place to stay when traveling through eastern Montana or heading toward Medora and Theodore Roosevelt National Park.
You can tell the new owners are putting real effort into improving the hotel and taking care of guests. Great value, peaceful location, and excellent hospitality. I would definitely stay here again and recommend The Roosevelt Hotel & RV Park in Wibaux to other travelers.

We arrived around 10 PM and the night clerk had had our room AC on & the had the room keys all ready for us so we were able to go to our room right away. There was a waffle maker, toast, bagels, cereal for breakfast. Very affordable & a comfortable bed.

The location is especially convenient for anyone visiting the area. Medora, Theodore Roosevelt National Park, and the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library are all nearby, making this a great place to stay while exploring western North Dakota and eastern Montana.
It’s also easy to access from I-94, with a peaceful small-town atmosphere and plenty of space for both hotel guests and RV travelers.
The new owners are clearly working hard to improve the property and provide a better guest experience. I would definitely recommend The Roosevelt Hotel & RV Park in Wibaux for anyone visiting Medora, Theodore Roosevelt National Park, or the Presidential Library.

Not as bad as we saw some peoples reviews ! It’s an old building but everything worked! It was clean ! Ac was super strong! And the staff is so sweet and even let us sleep in an extra hour 😘😘 thank you !
The place isn't bad if you are prepared for the most basic kind of motel setup. It's a super quiet town so basically by default, it's also quiet and felt safe enough.
Renovation is going on great! Manager Yuveee was amazing — very kind and generous. The price was excellent since I was traveling on a budget. Pet friendly and perfect for an overnight stay. Nice small town atmosphere and very close to Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Highly recommend!

Overall very comfortable. The owner and staff is very nice. The owner helped carry my suitcase out and offered me coffee to take along.
The town was neat to drive around and had a nice shop that sells pottery and knickknacks for travelers.
Check in was quick and smooth, staff was friendly. Bed was comfy, room was fairly clean except for spider web in bottom right corner of window. Sink leaked when stopped up with water to hand wash a clothing item. Breakfast is where you lost me: bagel was dry and hard (stale?), juice was watered down, but the thing that got me was there were no more knives, and when I opened the 2 drawers under where I thought there might be more, saw lots of mouse turds in both drawers. Unfortunately I didn’t have my phone on me at the time to snap pics…
Stayed in worse but stayed in much better. Soon as you walk into the room 128 you notice black marks in the sink that looked like mud but in fact it was some kind of stain. Not something you want to see when brushing your teeth. Grab bars in the tub for seniors would be nice too. The outside has weeds growing all over.
looks bad. One good thing was the lady behind the desk was super friendly & very helpful. Breakfast was good too.

The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast is simple but sufficient. It's close to the highway as well, yet quiet. You can't ask for better at this bargain price. Yes, the exterior is a bit shabby, but the rooms are fine.
Call ahead and reserve directly from the hotel. Unlike big chain hotels, where the Hotels price is better than walking in the door to reserve, the Hotels website added a full $20 to the price at the Roosevelt
We arrived around 9 pm. Checkin was very easy. They had our room keys waiting when we arrived. It appeared to have been a very busy night for this run down motel. There were 3 of us staying and we only had 2 towels in our room. When I went to get more towels I was told that their washing machine had just been repaired and they were behind on their laundry. They pulled what I was hoping were 2 clean towels out of a pile, folded them, and gave them to me. Saturday night a mouse ran across my daughter. When I went to checkout I reported this and they were not surprised. They just said that they'd been trying to catch him. The 2 staff that I encountered were very friendly. It was the only redeeming quality in this hotel.
The hotel is under new management and renovations. We expected substandard accommodations because of the price.
The room was immaculate., including the tub. Toilet and floor. The bed was comfortable.
Recommendations for dinner was very good.
Breakfast was sparse. An elderly employee made coffee. Polite and helpful..
Had trouble getting a working key at check in- took several tries. No instructions for A/C or TV Remote. Bedframe stuck out under mattress, creating a hazard. Breakfast was not great- no milk, no juice, second day no waffle mix made up. Multiple cereals thrown into one dispenser. But, we slept well and this was a very busy weekend so we appreciated having a room. And the Shamrock Club restaurant nearby was very friendly with good food.
This was the filthiest place I’ve ever stayed. The first thing you smell is ancient cigarette smoke that’s imbedded into walls and floor. Floor is extremely dusty/dirty. Chair is extremely stained and worn. The bedding appeared clean and bed was comfortable. The guys running it said they have only had it for a few months and hope to improve it. Unfortunately, everything really needs to be ripped out, professionally cleaned and replaced. Only stayed because wasn’t anything else nearby. The “free breakfast “ area was also sloppy and didn’t look clean. Washing walls, carpeting and furniture would help.
