“My wife & I spent 3 very pleasant weeks at this Lake Ontario house during a late spring getaway to upstate NY. Very quiet, private & scenic location. The house had everything we needed - well equipped kitchen, BBQ grill, comfortable bed, indoor fireplace for chilly days, outdoor fire pit for nice evenings, etc. Close to beach, lighthouse & restaurants in Sodus Point, several state parks & nature preserves, Erie Canal Trail, etc. Excellent communication with the property manager. “This was our 2nd time staying at the Schnackel Shack and we had a wonderful time. We were staying with our cousin's family that included 2 girls, 10 and 12 and the location is great, being close to SeaBreeze Amusement Park, Whispering Pines Mini-Golf, Lake Ontario and lots of other attractions.
