"The family and I had a lot of fun hanging out at the cabin. The downstairs area was great for hanging out and activities. There was plenty of room for all 10 of us (and a dog) to spread out. We even jumped into the hot tub despite the freezing weather we encountered. Everything was clean and the host was super responsive to messages. "

"This property is exceptional. We came to enjoy a quiet Thanksgiving in the mountains. As a natural planner I loaded my car with all things Thanksgiving never assuming that the kitchen would be completely stocked and loaded. The attention to detail was amazing. Not only was there a turkey pan there was a baster as well as a cheesecloth. The table was set beautifully when we arrived. Jean even left us a few snacks and goodies. The morning sunrises and evening sunsets were gorgeous. The hike to Big Bald was amazing. If you don't know you can only access Big Bald through Wolf Laurel or you will be hiking 13 miles. This homes gives you a short uphill trail climb that my kids were able to do.The beds were some of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. There were throw blankets (comfy big ones) all over the house. We had the fireplace going almost the whole time we were in the house. Soaking in the hot tub with a glass of wine at the end of the day with those views was incredible. If you are looking for a cozy getaway with literally everything you'll ever need this is the place. "
