On first entry the cabin smelt of urine . Front stairs of cabins need replacing. Cockroaches on entry then more on re entry after being out for the evening, yuck. Sticky floor.

Hi Sandra, thank you for your review, we have currently just had new manager start with us as we are working on renovating & fixing both motels up, as you could imagine this wont be cheap, As for the insects you are opposite the lake and this is common, however we have had pest control here 2 times in the past 2 months

Pretty good but could easily be better
The size of the apartment and amount of bedding was great. The pool was lovely. The room was clean and the bathroom was updated and clean. But the room needs maintenance and repairs. The oven wasn’t working, there were no cutting knives provided, the kitchen tap was half hanging out. Overall though, we would book there again.

The check in experience was bland. He wasn’t interested. Just wanted to get the job done. We had questions but he wouldn’t make eye contact.

The lady at the front desk was lovely. Dog friendly peak season was great ! The long term residents were a great chat. The room was clean and renovated. A great 2 day base for exploring the area.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! Filthy. Disgusting. Falling down. Apathetic staff only care about taking your money. Tiles falling off, mould, holes and hair in bathroom, dirty crockery, glasses and cutlery, not enough chairs, filthy inside and out, exposed walls in children room showing foam inside, rubbish in pool and outside areas unkept, bbq filthy, no help from staff didnt care. Owners terrorised and tried to evict local residents, cabins currently in process of being condemned by council.

Was told there was no booking when we arrived Was locked out of room because key was deactivated by error Bats covered our cars in poo Grounds were dirty and overgrown Do not stay here

Our stay there was terrible. My partner got bites from bed bugs all over her and the dog got fleas from the cabin. It didnt look like the dishes in the cabin we stayed in had been washed properly. Was not a tidy place at all. The grass was overgrown too. Dont recommend staying there.

Hi Ben, we are sorry to hear that you never enjoyed your stay, The bites would have been from the the mosquitos/Midgies from the lake as we take pride in our laundry and cleanliness. That is also the reason we charge the pet cleaning fee, so the cleaners can do a deep clean after each pet has left

Contrary to website and billboard info, property did NOT have a restaurant or bar! Swimming pool was far too filthy to even dip a toe in! No direct access to lake. Room door security chain had nothing to connect to. Would NEVER stay here again!!

Stayed in a newly renovated cabin on the water of Lake Illawarra. Found it very clean, with new furniture, nice big TV and a very comfortable bed with quality linen. Very serene.

Rooms need some TLC, carpet was filthy feet were black walking on carpet but overall cleanliness was ok not great! Shower head was leaking toilet wasn’t put in it moved when you sat on it and power points weren’t in properly live power visable! Wouldn’t be my first choice of accommodation but definitely in a last resort situation I would stay again.

We stayed in a cabin with partial views of Illawarra Lake. The cabin was comfortable, clean, had everything we needed, and it was roomy enough. A beautiful, tranquil, and relaxing environment… sitting on the veranda watching the swans on the lake, as well as the awesome sunsets. The staff were friendly and obliging. Highly recommended😊

Inside was fairly ordinary re walls, shower curtain, Staining on Lounge was bad, put our towels on it. Beds very comfortable and linens excellent. Outside was also ordinary with verandah dirty. Kids loved the pool area

Check in was ok. We had to go back to reception to organise soap for the shower and hand soap, as they hadn’t been refilled. My son found Oreos biscuits in between the mattress and bunk bed frame. Outside the rooms - there were cigarette butts in un-emptied ashtrays. I found the beds comfortable and the room was clean (apart from the Oreos)

A total disappointment!
Poor quality beds, the room had a bad smell! All furniture was poor, all off the paint on the doors walls was very dirty. Bathroom was very dirty the vanity was fooling apartment. I filled this paperwork after we left the inn, or l would of have photos to give youas well. All of the towels and bedding was clean.

Would of been nice to sleep.in my car instead of the bed in the cabin. The bathroom was falling apart, the floor was unstable and splitting, would of been netter to leave!

Extremely tired rooms. Air con didn’t work even after l replaced the batteries in the remote which was dead flat when l picked it up. Really needed aircon to work cause it was pretty hot. The tap in the kitchen was broken. No lamp in the room, yet other rooms had them. Paid $195 was probably work $80.

The cabin itself was clean and tidy. Although a few things in need of a bit of love and attention. The TV was very glitchy and didn’t work well enough to watch anything. Comfortable bed, working fridge and shower. Very basics.
