"St. Louis received several inches of snow on our arrival day. The property manager called to let us know they had cleared and salted the front steps as well as the back sidewalk and porch. "Host met us when we arrived. He was very nice. Took the time to show us everything and answer our questions. First VRBO. It was a pleasant experience. "The location was very convenient for seeing a Cardinal's game and other downtown attractions, and the price was better than most for a group our size. I don't know what is normal for this neighborhood, but during our stay, we heard gunshots one night and a car horn right outside our window another (likely a break-in, police were there a while) around 4:30 in the morning. There was a strong smell of weed all through our apartment one of the nights we came back. We saw a sign posted a few blocks...

"We stayed in this beautiful historic 2-story home in St Louis, MO for a week. Very nicely decorated, furnished and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The carport with garage door was a bonus. Owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. The area was an older part of town they are refurbishing, but we felt safe and liked the historic structure. Would recommend if you are visiting St Louis or any of the surrounding areas."

"Jamie's place was perfect for our family of 4 + 2 small dogs. The location was great - a beautiful park across the street and fabulous brickstone houses nearby in a great neighborhood. Also a quick 5-10 min drive to everywhere we went in St Louis. Very pleased with our little get away to St Louis. It is very family and dog friendly! So many great restaurants and fun activities!"
