Easy check-in, we were texted a door code in advance. Very quaint and pretty Inn. Staff were very nice and accommodating, specifically Stacey. The on-premise restaurant is amazing, we ended up having dinner and breakfast there. Bartender, Rita was great.

Beautiful, quiet inn. We stayed Saturday through Tuesday after the holidyas, so it was especially quiet, just what we wanted. Staff was incredibly attentive and engaging, rooms were unique and comfortable. I highly recommend The Jackson. We will be returning in the spring to see the grounds!

The staff was absolutely lovely. The Inn has a complimentary wine and cheese spread from 1730-1830. The hotel staff is on hand and its a great way to get to know fellow travelers and the staff themselves. My friend and I went both nights we were there and talked with Dave, one of the owners and the second night we spoke with Shawn (spelling?) We talked of books and going to Connecticut, to Yale and Mystic for Pizza.

The Jackson Inn is incredibly charming and in a picturesque area. The room was very comfortable and the restaurant and staff was amazing.

The town was cute. The hotel/lodging was just okay. No one to greet us on arrival. You were to hit a button for service. Then a voice came over the phone and asked if you received via text the code to your room. That was the only exposure we had any humans with regard to the room. We stayed for two nights at a cost of approximately $450 per night. Our room was not made up after the first day. Breakfast which we thought for some reason was included was not. Although there was breakfast you just had to pay for it. I will say the restaurant was absolutely fabulous. The food was delicious. I wouldn't stay there again but I would definitely go to that restaurant again. The facility did not seem to have much for the price one paid.

Room #14 - from arriving at the property, the place looked nice, it's Mid November in Vermont, so the trees looked dead, and the leaves are all gone and on the ground, but still, I had a very warm impression of the place. Everything was proper, good workmanship,good quality.... only distracted by all the dead looking plants and dead leaves, but i know , that's November in Vermont.The room was ready before 3PM and they texted us, so we arrived at 1:30PM.. used the code to enter , and what a nice place. A nice fire going in one lounge room, and our room was very nice, nice heavy linen sheets, thick heavy bath towels, thick heavy bath robes, beautiful hardwood floors, beautiful excellent furnishings, beautiful crown moldings, high thick baseboards, very nice.... gives me a quality feeling. We went out to have dinner early and upon returning, we were greeted by Patty, what a great woman. We had long enjoyable conversations of a lot of things, apparently, many celebs come or own properties nearby.... Patty mentioned Alec Baldwin, Tom Cruise's X has a place here... ! I shared with Patty my encounters of Adam Sandler, Matt Damon, Ellen DeGeneres, Ann Heche in Rockport, MA , when we owned property and business in Bearskin Neck, Rockport, Ma. We had great time with Patty.The next morning, we met Richard while having breakfast at Oakes and Evelyn. He says he's "just" a cog-in-the-wheel,i suspect he's much higher than that.He was Super nice, a Real person,and very Generous.

The Inn keeper is so sweet and keeps everything spotless! Sets out wine and cheese around the evening time, it was our first time staying at the Jackson Inn and won’t be our last.

Nice property in a good location but strange and impersonal experience. Self-service, impersonal. Practically nobody on staff, every interaction was handled via text/email/QR code, and tech didn't work at times. Clean but very small room. Multiple prompts to check out early. Overpriced for what it is. Not a proprietor-run inn.

Pretty nice but leaves something to be desired

Overall, we had a mostly positive stay. We had a late check-in, and when we arrived in our room, there was no hand soap in the bathroom, no tissues in the tissue box, and no shampoo in the shower (only conditioner). The lack of hand soap thing really bothered me as someone who takes hand hygiene seriously, especially in the bathroom. There was a pair of dirty men’s socks in the corner of the room that a previous guest had left behind, so it didn’t give me confidence our room had been thoroughly cleaned. There were also multiple bugs in our room throughout the stay. The first night, it was a large fly buzzing around all night, and we killed other types of bugs while there, as well. Not a huge deal, but it made me wish for better pest control at the property. We were also sent the wrong key code and were locked out of our room for a while. To be clear, the staff members we interacted with were kind and helpful. We just felt things got off to a rough start and honestly wished pretty early on we had chosen a different place to stay in Woodstock. For the price we paid, I had higher expectations than what we experienced. With some stronger attention to detail, especially when it comes to thoroughly cleaning and providing the bare minimum for supplies (like soap), this place could be great.

Nice property, I loved the fact that they have a socializing hour around 530 where they give you wine, cheeses, cookies and other snacks. The owner is super nice. On the negative the mattress sloped towards your feel but didn’t affect sleep. Rooms are small but charming. Perhaps a bit more expensive than it should be for what you get.

Staff was warm and welcoming but never got my check in code. The breakfast was not included, and the restaurant was closed for dinner, leaving very few food options. Fireplace would not turn on, someone kept slamming the door downstairs as well (which is not the mgmt's fault I realize). It was a nice place but would stay closer to town with a proper B&B
