The Lake's End - Beautiful Lakefront Log Home in the White Mountains

Welcome to The Lake's End. Located on an acre of lakefront property in the White Mountains, this property is sure to be any outdoor enthusiast's dream come true. Enjoy swimming and fishing largemouth bass just steps from your door. The cabin is also just minutes from some of New Hampshire's premier hiking locations including Franconia Ridge. In the winter, the property also has good proximity to some of New Hampshire and Vermont's top ski mountains.

This house is located off the Kancamagus Highway, home the best leaf-peeping drive in New Hampshire!

Snowmobilers - connect to Rt 105 that runs just above the property and hook into New Hampshire's state-wide snowmobile trail system.

This lakefront property is also located in The Mountain Lakes Recreational Community, which gives you access to a playground, basketball court, tennis courts, and baseball field.

At the end of a day of adventuring you can return to the cabin which features 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, sleeping accommodations for 10 (1 king bed, 2 queen beds, 1 "full size" bunk bed, 1 full bed, as well as a pull-out couch, if needed), air conditioning, cable TV, long-distance phone service, high-speed Wi-Fi, washer/dryer, and a gas grill hooked up to the house's propane (so you will never run out!).

The house also features a whole-house backup generator so you are guaranteed to never be without power, heat, or air conditioning.

Gorgeous cabin with amazing views

We've stayed in several cabins in the Mt Lakes District and this was by far the most comfortable cabin of them all. The kitchen was well-equipped, the central AC was very much needed for the few hot July days we had and the view was incredible. This is such a well-cared for home and we truly didn't want to leave. Don't hesitate to book this one as I can see this filling up fast! Thank you, Alex!!!

The House and the Host are Amazing!

The Lake's End is so beautiful inside and out! The space is comfortable for a full family to stay in, with plenty of space to come together or spread out. The view is amazing and the activities available on the lake are so nice to be able to take advantage of. The whole atmosphere was very calming.The host was very helpful and accommodating. I had made a mistake in the booking and he patiently worked through it with me and VRBO reps until we got it solved. When a repair was needed, he jumped on solving it quickly. And he made the whole experience even more personal by calling ahead of the stay to make sure we were all set.Overall, this stay fit our needs perfectly! We all appreciated getting to enjoy this wonderful space!

Wonderful Cabin

This cabin was probably the best rental we have ever stayed in. It was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed and Alex answered my questions quickly and honestly. The area is quiet and peaceful and there was a great view from the deck that we used every day. I enjoyed using the provided canoe and walking around the neighborhood with our dog. It was nice to have access to a pool and tennis courts. The only negatives were that the lake, although beautiful, wasn't great for swimming (in my opinion) and the backyard was a bit soggy and muddy near the fire pit area due to a constant stream of water down the slope of the yard. We had a great week and would highly recommend The Lakes End.

Summer at the lakes end

Alex was an amazing host, communication was great. The house had everything we needed. Location was perfect, we loved relaxing out on the porch or on the dock enjoying the lake views. Big Eddy (swimming hole) right down the street is always our favorite swimming spot to visit. We had a blast and we would absolutely stay here again.

Amazing stay at this incredible home !!

We had stayed at this home several years ago and were very happy to be able to go back and stay here again. Alex is a great homeowner and was always available if we needed him. The area is so quiet and nice, and the house is so clean and spacious and we lacked for nothing. The lake was peaceful and warm and surrounded by natural beauty. We had some bear friends come visit us in the backyard and we were able to safely watch them from the upper deck. We had another amazing stay and will most likely come back in the future. Summer family vacation

We had a great time at Lakes End. We had 8 adults and 2 toddlers (and 2 dogs). Alex was a great host, and always answered any communication very quickly. We had everything we needed. The grandchildren enjoyed seeing the fish from the dock. The better area to swim is at the community beach down the road, and we went there often. There's also a pool which is open during the day, and only requires a "pass" during the hours when there is no lifeguard on duty. The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking, and there was plenty of seating for eating and watching TV. The air conditioning was perfect since we were there during a heat wave.

Beautiful cabin!

The cabin was perfect for our family - 6 adults and 3 kids! We enjoyed nightly fires in the gorgeous fireplace and card games. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The yard is a great space and we loved walking to the beach and playground.

Quiet NH getaway

We had a wonderful time in this quiet log cabin in NH. The home was spacious and allowed for our group of 6 adults to be together or have quiet time apart. The view was beautiful from the living room windows - it would have been even better if the sun came out (we had a rainy weekend away).

Tranquil cabin in the White Mountains

Great property, awesome host, home just as nice as pictured! Great location in western white mountains; quiet area with beautiful lake. Top notch rental with mountain charm

This cozy cabin was perfect for our group of 8. Exactly as pictured - large open floor plan made it perfect for us all to spend time together before retreating to our own spaces. The host was very friendly and communicative, the beds were super comfortable and the cabin was clean and fully stocked with all the glassware and cookware we needed. The cabin was easy to find/get to, and the view of the lake was the perfect way to start our mornings. We give our experience a 10/10!
