"Douglas Cottage exceeded expectations. It was delightfully decorated in Georgian and Victorian styles but managed to perfectly combine historical charm with all the necessary mod-cons. The hosts, Barbara and Andrew, greeted us on arrival and showed us around the cottage and explained how everything worked. They thoughtfully saved us a parking spot directly outside the house (residents permit only) and provided us with a lovely basket of goodies. The location is absolutely ideal, about 100 yards...

"We stayed at this beautiful cottage through New Year, family of 7 and dogs, it was everything that we expected and more. The cottage was absolutely perfect, there were plenty of lovely walks around, we hired E-bikes through Bear Trax which was fun. All local amenities which included shops, pubs and restaurants (dog friendly) were within easy walking distance. Highly recommend this cottage and we will definitely be back to stay again."

"This place is as pictured and described ,just beautiful and the views are amazing I couldn’t stop staring out the windows. The guest house is very accommodating, and my 4 year old didn’t want to leave as was so many fun games & he loved the zip wire. We went in April so lots of young lambs and my son was happy he got to bottle feed a few. Bethan greeted us on arrival ,and that was a nice touch and showed us round and made sure we got settled in ok. We managed to see and do so much in our 2 night...

"We loved our stay at the Rossett Hall Hotel. The staff was absolutely wonderful (special shout out to Helen!) and very helpful with our daily sightseeing questions. The food in the hotel is great and the rooms are spacious and clean with ample hot water and comfortable baths. Rossett is a small town that on its own doesn’t have too much to do, however the location of this hotel is fantastic. We flew into Manchester and rented a car and this hotel gave us a great base and easy access to all of North and Mid Wales as well as Manchester area. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to coming back. Highly recommended! "
