「The owners are great. The property is not. The place is cold for winter, the thermostat is locked, but if you call the owners they will adjust it up some. The place has a smell. It is like a wet dog or mold. The bed is hard, the pillows are flat, and the sheets are thin. It is a multi- stay unit home, if you book a room, there may be another 4 (or more) guests staying there with you sharing the common room. For winter, all the potted plant were brought inside. 「Lo que más me ha gustado la cama y la almohada, muy confortable, en una habitación bellísima, luego la amabilísima y excelente atención de Ramón, pero mi top ha sido nuestra habitación ideal para lo que veníamos justo buscando, birdwatching, lectura, paz y tranquilidad en nuestro entorno ideal, paseando en plena Madre y sabia naturaleza.」

「Hotel muito bem localizado. Staff muito atencioso. PA com horário alargado até 10h30, com variedade de produtos. O sumo de laranja se fosse natural real uma mais valia. O wc estava com 1/2 rolo de papel higiénico e deviam prestar atenção aos pormenores como este. Não conseguimos mudar de canal na tv do quarto. Não sei qual era o problema pois como apenas ficamos 1 noite não constituiu um problema 」

「Loved this hotel. Its location is amazing - up in the hills and so tranquil but still only a 10 minute drive from Chaves. The hotel has so many fruit trees and herbs - I was able to pick fresh mint to make mint tea whilst I was there. Will definitely return!」

「It's a calm, casual place with class. Good restaurant. But its more a mix of old and modern than the photos makes you believe. Bedrooms and restaurant are in moderne additions, but it works well.」

「Tout était parfait ! Nous avons eu un problème de chauffage et l’équipe a tout mis en œuvre pour résoudre la situation. Finalement nous avons été contraint de changer de chambre ! Celle-ci avait également un problème grave car la porte intérieure était cassé et a failli tomber sur la tête de mon mari! Nous avons signalé à l’accueil pour résoudre cela car cela aurait pu être grave !」

「Amazing old property tastefully converted into a hotel with many original features retained. Large parking courtyard too - safe for motorbikes…..」

「The lovely lady at reception said i should park my motorbike just outside reception between the plant pots, as reception was 24hr and it was on camera. Breakfast was lovely. Only struggle i had was no Netflix prime or YouTube on the TV and screen mirror just didn't work. Easy walk to bars and restaurants」
