Nice basic, neat and clean small hotel

Very nice, small and family run business, more like a homestay in an undisturbed locality not far from Hledan Center and University of Yangon. The room, bathroon and linens were very clean. Staffs including the owner are very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was healthy with variety.

Nice small suburban hotel

Nice little mum and dad hotel in the suburbs. Easy to get a taxi into downtown Yangon, and nice suburb anyway.

Pleasant but basic family-run hotel

Stayed at two hotels in Yangon, first was the Novotel which was very swish but rather soulless. The majesty was far more character-laden but without so many of the comforts. Bed was comfortable, room was large enough including a travel cot, AC worked reasonably well. It was close to where my brother-in-law lives which was the main selling point. Negatives: pretty basic facilities, no lift, breakfast only okay, no shower (just handheld bath attachment), location difficult for taxis to find.

Very good staff. I liked the quick and humble service the staff has provided there. Location is okay, not very bad or good but it is near to Hledan Center which helped me to get transportation access easily.
