All in all, an excellent holiday in a fabulous location.

All in all, an excellent holiday in a fabulous location. We spent days in York centre, Leeds and Alton Towers. Cinema, supermarkets and trampoline park all within a 10/15 min drive.

The Barbados lodge was perfectly located, overlooking the pond.

The Barbados lodge was perfectly located, overlooking the pond. Itâ€™s 3 bedroom - a double and a twin & then a 3rd smaller room with bunk beds thatâ€™s only suitable for kids. We had teenagers in these beds and they did say they werenâ€™t the comfiest beds - so maybe better suited to slightly younger children. The main beds were very comfortable. We did not need to use the heating but the lodges were warm overnight. The lodge was spotlessly clean and the decor was lovely. The veranda area was great with the hot tub and garden furniture - but there are only 4 seats which means as a party of 6 2 didnâ€™t have seats. The lodge was perfect for us and we would definitely book to return again.
