The location for exploring York is fantastic. Right in the heart of the City and surrounded by history and with so many dining options to choose from. Only 5 minute walk to York Minster.. 25 steps to entrance.

Public car park, at cost, 5 minutes away. No smoking.. Roof Tops in York is a charming second-floor apartment, offering a perfect blend of modern comfort and historic character. Designed for four guests, the apartment boasts original features that add to its charm. A double and king-size bedroom, ensue a restful stay. The bathroom includes a bath with a shower over. The well-equipped kitchen is fitted with electric appliances, and the inviting living and dining area is complete with a large smart TV.

Step outside, into the heart of York, a City steeped in over 2000 years of history. The iconic York Minster is just a five-minute walk away, visitors can climb the tower for breathtaking views or delve into the undercroft to uncover remnants of the ancient Roman fortress. York’s vibrant bars and restaurants are within easy reach.

The Fossgate Quarter is famous for its unique eateries, while the City’s bustling streets showcase some of Europe’s finest street artists. Explore The Shambles, the enchanting medieval street that inspired Diagon Alley in Harry Potter, or lose yourself in York’s hidden Snickleways. Ghost Tours provide an eerie but fun experience. With over 300 pubs, you’ll never be short of a place to stop and enjoy a drink.

Enjoy a boat trip along the River Ouse or spend a day at York Racecourse. Must-visit attractions include the Jorvik Viking Centre, National Railway Museum, Clifford’s Tower, and York’s Chocolate Story. Great location and clean apt. Only downside was the huge amount of stairs, rough sheets, no mattress protector, completely flat pillows, and a nespresso machine was provided but no capsules. Otherwise it was a great stay.
