Inspired by the picturesque surrounding landscape, The Abiquiu Lake House will make your visit a unique, comfortable, and unforgettable experience. This neat and uncluttered 2/2 home sits on 11 acres and features impeccable views of the Cerro Pedernal, Ghost Ranch, and Lake Abiquiu. There are many hiking opportunities at nearby state parks and monuments. Horseback riding at Ghost Ranch is a must-do! The casita has beautiful lake views that will leave you speechless. At night, the dark skies and the Milky Way will amaze you!

*Primary has a king-sized bed, television, bathroom with shower en suite.

Beautiful property. Beautiful home. Beautiful location. Star gazing from the hot tub was wonderful! I would suggest the hosts lose the scented candles, as some folks are very sensitive to them. We herded them up and stashed them away during our stay. I suspect they're trying to mask the stinky smell of the water, but it doesn't really work. We went nose-blind to the smell of the water shortly after we came in each day. Have stayed in that area many times and know the water situation.

Enchanted
First impression: WOW! Lasting impression: WOW! My husband and I stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute while in the home and away. From the sunrise to the stargazing was more than i could put into words and pictures don't even come close. The house was very comfortable and well supplied. It is remote and the drive in from the road is a trek (part of the allure for me). Its not total privacy, but by no means crowded. Only one other house within view from the main gathering area. We did a lot of sightseeing and driving thru Santa Fe national forest, but never even scratched the surface. If you're into that kind of adventure this area is for you and you won't go wrong with this home.

Exceptional stay
Incredible house that has equally incredible surroundings and views. The house was well equipped, clean and the owners gave us full details of anything we’d need to bring. The house has easy and private access to the lake, from which we launched our paddle board. Overall we had a 5 star experience, with no issues and would definitely recommend.

Beautiful spot
We had a great stay at the Abiquiu Lake house. The views inside and outside of the house are amazing. The house is remote and it is a good idea to bring supplies before coming. We took some great hikes at Ghost Ranch and at Plaza Blanca and had a nice soak at Ojo Caliente. We also had a great tour of Georgia OKeefe’s studio and home. If you like privacy, quiet and beautiful views this is the house for you.

Gorgeous Location and house in Abiquiu Lake
The photos of this property do not do it justice as it is one of the most gorgeous places we have ever stayed at. The house has giant windows that allow the view into the house immersing one in the beauty of Abiquiu lake. If you are hesitant about staying here -don't think twice do it! You will not regret it.
